The facility seemed larger and more ominous beyond the gates, once they had slipped through though two certian individuals knew immediately someone had cross through the barrier.
Vampy was of course the first, he knew everything in the goings on at the facility, or at least believed he did. He was rather arrogant about it and the whole episode with Hya and the murders was enough to make the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. He hated not knowing...not being in control. He had been in the middle of a lesson with Pepper when he went quiet a moment picking upon Luthor's aura immediately. He cared little for the second aura with him..as long as it wasn't his sister at this point he didn't care.
"Class is taking a small break," he announced suddenly drawing an incredulous look from Pepper who was still struggling away with a new compnent with a spell.
"....What?"
"I said we are taking a break. Someone is here to see you I'd rather you be paying attention in class and not risk blowing us both up..I want you back here in an hour..." The silver haired man announced as he turned and then left the classroom without a word. The fallen...he was going to see Almas. The fallen had been a mess since Luthor had left, he wondered if by getting his hopes up was cruel...
Pepper's eyes narrowed as Vampy left, that odd behavoir was definantly not..like him. Break? ...They NEVER took breaks...still he wasn't going to waste this opportunity and he got up and stretched his legs. He wasn't as good as Vampy was about sensing auras. In fact he was down right terrible at it. But he had a good sense of smell, that was all that mattered to him.
Trotting he exited the room, eager and excited to see who it could possible be here to see him. When he didn't spot anyone in the lobby he took a glance outside and nearly fell over his two feet. He pressed his face up against the glass his breath fogging it up and nearly ripped the handle of the door off in his eagerness to get outside. Good thing he didn't try and barrel his way through the glass...
"LUTHOR YOU FORSAKEN A******!" Came his rather loud and crude greeting as he bounded towards the other not looking as if he was going to slow down...

Ciaran also took a deep breath and followed Luthor towards the doors of the Labs. He wondered to where Pepper was lurking today and also hope too that they wouldn't see too many techs as he didn't want any of then touching him but it might be fun to give a few a small zap or two.
Suddenly his ears perked as he heard and saw that it was Pepper comming there way and comming up fast too. "Well that was fast, I thought we would have to go inside to find him and it looks like he is comming right for you and don't worry I have the present," Ciaran said to Luthor as he smiled and tail waging behind him happily.

Luthor gave the smallest wince as he heard the... 'greeting' of sorts and he blinked a couple times as he turned toward the voice, "Pepper..." He murmured, turning toward his friend and seemed to be bracing himself. He wasn't entirely sure what this meeting was going to be light but he had come home for this expressed reason and since Pepper found him he couldn't flee or change his mind now.
"He certainly sounds... enthusiastic." He murmured to Ciaran, waiting to see what happened, and to see if his friend tackled, punched, or chewed on him in retaliation for Luthor having left the Labs so long ago. He was prepared though and willing to accept whatever punishment the other, younger spawn might have in mind.

Pepper basically took a running leap at Luthor twisting in the air to then land in front of him instead of on top of him and then bear hugged his friend as hard as he could possibly manage. He took a deep breath of his friends scent...his eyes sliding shut as he felt himself calm down. He stood for a good thirty seconds in silence just crushing Luthor with his hug before he finally tilted his head and bit Luthor hard on the shoulder. He left a pretty good bruise before he withdrew glaring at Luthor with a fierce gaze.
"You took your freakin time!" He shouted shifting his balance so he wasn't so close to Luthor he then flickered his gaze to Ciaran.
"Hey did you find him for me? Thanks Ciaran.." He draweled raising a clawed hand to rub his forhead as if there were too many thoughts in his brain.

Watching Pepper come and greet Luthor as Ciaran made a note not to make Pepper mad, but it was still had a warm fuzzy feeling for bring Luthor back home even if he was going to miss him being around. "Your welcome..." Ciaran said as he just sheepishly smiled at what Pepper has said as it wasn't the whole truth. "Well I wasn't the one that found him wandering around town, it was my friend Sokan that found it wandering. All I did was to bring him here as Luthor didn't know the way," he added
He took out the gift that was for Pepper and handed it to Luthor. "Give this to him, I think it will mean more if it come from you," Ciaran said to Luthor even tho they had both picked out the gift, but Ciaran didn't mind eather way.

He would admit to be to being a little surprised by what Pepper did, when he came running forward Luthor had expected to find himself tackled into the ground... but instead he found himself locked into a hug that took his breath away. He gave a bit of a smile before he wrapped his arms around the smaller spawn, hugging him back. Of course the next part drew him out of the relaxed state he was in, causing him to give a jump and a gasp as Pepper bit into him. At least he hadn't drawn blood he realized, that was good.
"Ahh... yeah, I am sorry about that Pepper..." He murmured, scratching the back of his head in an embarrassed fashion as he was scolded by his friend. He reached a hand out to lay it on his head and stroked his hair back, "Mmm, and I missed you too." He said, giving his already bruising shoulder a roll.
Luthor found himself looking between Pepper and Ciaran before he smiled again feeling... happiness, pure and simple. His two best friends and the people who worried the most about him, those he cared the most about and wanted to be around the most. To have them both here, together... it just made his day. Ciaran's voice was able to reach him through the happy fog that was wrapping around him before he found the gift handed to him. He looked the box over before hold it out to Pepper, "We found this and thought it would be perfect for you." He said, holding out the metal forged, copper colored armbands that they had picked out for Pepper.
Something they had decided would suit him far better then anything else at the store given how he didn't wear much in the way of clothing

Pepper's eyes flickered back and forth from Ciaran to Luthor. Something...seemed weird between those two, though he couldn't place his finger on it. It didn't matter as his train of thought was derailed as Luthor stroked his hair and then presented him with a gift.
He raised his eyebrows in a inquisitive manner watching as Luthor took the arm bands out of the box and then presented them to him. He looked at them a long while before he reached out and tentatively accepted them. Wow, his first gift. He now felt bad about biting Luthor...even if he deserved much worse.
He rotated them in his hands looking them over in silence before smiling,
"Wow thanks guys...they are really cool." Came his honest reply before he went abot putting them on. THey weren't snug which was good cause he had a few rock like ...scales on his wrists but they looked really neat.
"Don't think that bribing me with a gift is going to get you off though, " He said in a sarcastic tone, though he was chuckling so for the most part Luthor had been forgiven.
"And thanks Ciaran I have a feeling you helped pick em out." He continued with a grin.

Ciaran was very happy that Pepper had like his gift and was right that they did look good on Pepper too. His own tail was wagging happy to even firther express his happyness. "Your welcome and yes I did help pick them out, but they look good on you," he said with a sheepish smile on his face. "They also can be worn on your arms as well, the metal is soft enought to be made a little bigger too. So you don't always have to wear them on your wrists." Ciaran added as he was very happy and content that he was slighly purring too.

Luthor gave a smile, "I am sure they won't completely make up for everything." He said, giving his friend a smile, and seemed to be glad that he liked them. He then gave a little pout at the claim that Ciaran had probably picked them out, it was mostly true he guessed... he relaxed and perked up once more until he heard the creak of a door. It caught his attention and he looked passed his friend toward the door that led into the Labs and his eyes went rather wide, "Ahh... Hell..." He breathed, finding himself looking upon Almas.
Just as Pepper had told him in the dream world his Dad was looking really... bad, wasn't he? He looked to thin, to tired, and Luthor never felt more guilty then right now for standing around laughing with friends when Almas was looking like that. He looked between his friend, "Ahh, I should get going... I really need to talk with him." He turned to Ciaran first, leaning over to give his friend a kiss on the top of the head, turned to Pepper to repeat the gesture, then let out a shaking breath as he slowly approached the Fallen angel that was his father.
All anger toward him was forgotten for the moment as he approached, instead feeling as though he were treading on egg shells and was about to be dealing with someone very, very delicate...

Pepper looked a bit surprised at the kiss, guys...didn't normally kiss each other right? Still he watched as Luthor went to talk to his father leaving him with Ciaran alone. He felt tense...as if the very tension in the air had gone thick. He moved a bit closer to Ciaran as he half turned to eye Luthor greeting his dad.
"This could be awkward..." He grumbeled in a low tone. Maybe they should leave...

Taken off guard again with Luthor kiss as he didn't know what to think but still smiled as it was a nice. Seeing that Pepper had gotten closer to him as Luthor left them to go with his father and Ciaran hoped thing would go well for the both of them.
"I will take your word for it," Ciaran answered as he hasn't see Almas current contition, but then a thought came to his mind. "Well if you don't mind I can take you to meet Sokan and you can see were I live," he said to Pepper.

Pepper looked to Ciaran with a raised eyebrow he chewed on his lower lip and then shook his head gently.
"Not today....I want to be close by...in case that b*****d Vampy tries to pull anything since Luthor is back.." He replied in a whisper the obvious worry in his body's posture.

"Ok, some other time. Take care of your self and Luthor. I will come and visit as often as I can." he said as Ciaran have him a quick hug good bye. "I care for the both of you and I wouldn't know what I would do without eather of you," he said even tho he hadn't known Pepper for to long but he made Ciaran feel safe, just like Luthor did.
"See you later Pepper," he added as he waved good bye and headed home.
