CrossFire43 Triple Homicide CrossFire43 Triple Homicide Alright. Somebody had better post a list of all the NASCARs in GT5 right now! =D Its all of those..just different paint schemes for the so..the 11, 24, 48 55, 14 and 88..I think thats it...Ugh...more Hendrick Motorsports logos splashed all over the screens again then. I've always friggen hated that. People keep saying Dale Jr., Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, and Tony Stewart make the most in merchandise sales. Well that's because those are the only four drivers that ignorant companies know the name of and don't take a second thought to thinking that people like anyone but them. I mean, look at Dale Sr. Fine, it's sad that he's gone and all, but that was like eight years ago. Fans have accepted it and moved on. I remember a few years ago when Zellers actually had more than four drivers for like two weeks. They had like 10 or 15 different 1:24 scale diecasts of drivers from Jeff Gordon to Jeff Burton. Two weeks later, the only ones left were the Hendrick cars. I even bought one of the Greg Biffle diecasts. I hate to break it to you..but thats just how sports marketing goes...the sixth man isn't a seller just a pusher. Also its not all Hendrick guys either... there was never a huge retail for Joe or Jerry back when they ran...nor was there ever huge Brian or Jimmie Spencer section either. It is really just Jr. (who had his popularity before Hendrick) Tony, Jeff, Kyle, and Sr. who sell due to the fact that lets face it..aside from Johnson..these guys are the only ones who have a personality and also have the wins to back them up. Now I'm not knocking Jimmie Johnson or Matt Kenseth or etc. but lets face it..those guys were never class clown or the strong man in the team... they are the quiet diligent workers...nothing wrong with that... its just that they aren't marketable.... the majority of America can not relate to Jimmie or Matt but they can relate to the fiery temper Tony... or the brash young spunk of Kyle. Lol and yes I am a marketing and Business administration major. xd I completely agree with this. Some people (here even rofl ) dont like stewart.. but how many people in daily lives feel the same way after a bad day at work? Plus you can see with jr lately his interviews have been a lot of ummms and yeah and constantly thanking the team for picking up the slack. I cant listen to that, jr is not the best interview person after a bad or controversial race.
