"Well im glad you can!" She laughed in reply- knowing all too well sometimes she wrote things down so fast and couldn't make out what it said later.
"Awwwh.... he sounds adorable!" She didn't put 2+2 together about the mark on the forehead- after all a lot of cats had marks on their foreheads. "Its a shame he is owned by someone. Their might be a chance he was once owned and left? I dunno its a possibility." Liz said trying to cheer up Ume.
The whole while talking she was eating the ice cream and sorting the paperwork. "Ah! I think we're done!" She said looking down at the two piles.

"Awesome!" Ume chirped sitting up a little straiter to glance over the piles.
"Maybe..." She added, pondering the cat. "There must be some reason he follows me." She said thoughtfully. "He's so handsome though I can't imagine someone would just -leave- him though. I mean... I don't know... even that little mark is so... I don't know...unique. I suppose someone might have been superstitious about it though."

"it sounds to me like the cat has a crush on you." Liz grinned- taking the final spoonful of ice cream from her cup. She looked down at it sadly- why must all good things come to a end?
Scooping up the paperwork next- she tried her best to try and fit them into her bag. "This is going to be fun to sort..." She sighed deeply.
Tossing her cup into the garbage, she returned back to the table and placed a hand on ume's shoulder. "I need to be going- its getting rather late and i hate being late. It was a pleasure meeting you!"

Ume smiled and stood. "I should be making my way home too, it was great to talk to you! Be safe!"
And for that day at least, they parted ways.
