"I can't speak for everyone," Folen said with a nod to his fellow candidates. "but don't think there have been many problems. There is a whole lot of learning going on and adjusting to the new routine. But I can't say that I've encountered anything I'd consider a problem. Thank you for your concern though." He finished warmly giving M'dor a smile.

"Not too many at all, Weyrsinger M'dor." Jada shook her dark head, ringlets bouncing. "As Folen said, just a lot of adjusting. In the end it is a lot like being a Harper Apprentice- learning, listening to the masters, and doing the work no one else wants to." her lips curved into a bright smile. "But with the additional benefit of I get to play teacher sometimes to the little ones."
But oh, she missed Harper Hall sometimes. If she didn't Impress, she would love to go back and finish, get her journeyman's knot. Maybe her Mastery, even.
Her slim fingers had moved on from tapping out the Question Song to tapping out The Golden Egg of Faranth on the top of her leg.

Folen looked over at Jada as she spoke and smiled softly recognizing the tune she was currently tapping out. The weyr was a wonderful place full of much to see and learn about, but it was obvious that she was missing Harper hall quite a lot.
Silently his hand found hers and he gave it a reassuring squeeze. Whatever happened, whether her future was with the weyr or the hall, she wasn't alone. He couldn't stop her from worrying about what might happen next. But could be there with her as she walked toward it. And he was determined to make sure she knew that.
