Noah was expecting a short, simple answer... so Raziel's caused his ears to perk up. "Don't worry, youngster. I've heard my share of stories." He said, laying down with his paws tucked neatly under him. "Do share, if you don't mind."

He looked at Noah and thought, 'I can trust him...' So he settled down and set one paw over the other, in a cross position. He haltingly began to speak. "I was just a young kit, that is as far back as I can remember... I was in my mothers den and my father was out hunting, when all of a sudden a...' He stopped and thought, trying to remember what the creatures name was, "A skeptos attacked my mothers den and killed her. He was coming after me when my father got back and fought it. He managed to kill it but he died in the process. So I have been alone for so long, I have trouble opening up to people..." He looked at Noah...

Noah noodded throughout the story, his eyes wise. He moved his tail and used it to pat the younger nova's shoulder. "Young one, you have had to face difficulties so soon in your life that many don't deal with until they're much older." He said. "Some things happen for a reason, though. Maybe the spirits have something big in store for you. Tell me, is there any dream you strive for?"

"I would very much like to one day start a family with another Nova named Kaoto. She was my childhood friend..." He trailed off. "I want to tell her that I would like to take her as my mate. But she is so beautiful and I am so plain..." He grimaced at the all too familiar pain of loving someone he could not have...

Noah's eyes darkened just a slight bit. "You mustn't put yourself down like that!" He said, his voice suddenly strong for such and old guy. "If this Kaoto is really as great as you believe, she should see past any faults you have."

"Well you see Noah... She ended up adopting three little kits that were left at her den, and she is always so busy with them she never has time to talk. I have tried courting her many times." He smiled at the strength in the elder Novas voice. Her wished that he was that strong.

Noah sat there silently for about 10 seconds, and then got up suddenly. He walked over to one of the many holes in his wall and pulled out a leaf bundle. He brought it over and set it down by Raziel, unwrapping it to reveal many little clear rocks that were tinted rainbow colors.
"Let's see..." He said, gently moving the rocks around with his paws. There was a hole in the ceiling that shone light, and suddenly the rocks lit up, casting rainbow speckles onto the walls. Noah studied the spots for a second, and then smiled.
"Perhaps these kits are the key to her heart." He finally said. "Maybe if you get to know them, provide some help, you can get to her heart another way."

'Hmmm... The kits are the key...?' He had never seen a nova do that before. He realized that this nova was special. "One of the kits is a mute. She never talks. And no one knows why.... The other two though, maybe I could help them...?" Raziel said most of it to himself but wondered if Noah had anymore advice...

"Perhaps." He said, suddenly looking very interested as he added. "The mute kit. Maybe she is special as well. Power comes from the places that seem to have the least of it." He wasn't just talking about Raziel trying to get the female, now. He was interested in the kit he spoke of.

Raziel cocked his head in interest. "Do you think that Nomine is special...? Oh sorry, Nomine is the name of the mute kit." Raziel watched Noah intently.

Raziel chuckled a little. "If you can stand a few other Novas around, just two, Nomine follows Abyss around. He can get her to come here, if you want to take a look at her...?"

"I don't mind a few more visitors. I don't get them often. The more the merrier!" He said, a small smile coming onto his gray muzzle.

Raziel smiled and excused himself, saying "I will be right back. I will fetch them."
Raziel ran off as fast as he could, which was pretty fast, and he went to a cave not far away where to his surprise it was Odyssey that was watching Nomine today. He asked them to follow him. They did and arrived back at Noah's cave withing a scant hour.
Raziel brought the two new Nova into Noah's cave and sat down panting lightly. "This is Odyssey, and Nomine."
The little orange Nova Kit Nomine stared around in intrigue at the flowers and shiny rocks. She opened her mouth to make a pleased noise but nothing came out.
Odyssey smiled and nuzzled the little Nova. "It is okay little Nomine. Soon love."
Nomine nuzzled back and laid at Odyssey's feet.

Noah dipped his head as a greeting to Odyessy, but then focused his eyes on the curious looking kit. She seemed like she was fascinated by the many things he had collected over the years. He took one of the rocks from before, a clear purpleish one, and brought it over to her to see what she did.
