(Note: xValediax wrote this up for me to post before I started my new guardians and new plots. I did not write this. Shefen, Ericka, Thomas and all other Linderhill characters are only to be used by xValediax. They are xValediax's NOT MINE.)
It was just after dinner time and all of the Linderhill family had spread out to various areas of the house to carry on with their business from before their meal. Shefen was in the kitchen washing up the remaining dishes while whistling 'Joy to the world.' He hadn't noticed that his elder daughter, Ericka, had run into the room until she clung to his legs wailing.
"Paaapaaaa!" She screamed, millions of tears falling from her lavender eyes. "Armaroq's trying to hit me!"
At once Shefen paused in his joyous whistling to look at his daughter with a confused look. Armaroq? Hit a girl? Pffft, he could barely harm an ant! Then, at that second Armaroq raced in practically boiling over with anger. Shefen's eyes went wide and he quickly picked Ericka up off the ground in a protective manner. Armaroq glared at Shefen and took a step forward with a loud snarl.
"Give me that brat!" He demanded. "She will not stop bothering me!"
Shefen's eyes narrowed and he growled, he didn't know what was going on between his daughter and his younger 'brother' but he soooo wasn't going to let him get away with him calling his daughter a brat. "Don't you DARE call my daughter a brat you little science experiment!" He shouted. "She may be annoying from time to time but she's only four! Remind yourself you were that age! She doesn't know any better!"
Armaroq didn't seem to care what Shefen was rambling on about, all he heard was 'little science experiment.' This set him off even further. That's when both of his eyes opened to reveal clear emerald green eyes. Sure, he was astounded to find he was no longer blind but he could care less now...All that mattered was his rage. He charged at Shefen with full force, knocking the shocked man off his feet and causing him to hit his head on the counter...Knocking him out completely.
Ericka had been thrown out of Shefen's arms and landed at Armaroq's feet. The poor little girl let out a blood curtling scream as she was picked up by her long purple hair and shook violently.
"Shut up, shut up, SHUT THE HELL UP!" Armaroq screamed back before litterally throwing Ericka against a wall. He watched as she sunk to the floor, breathing, but unconsious. He simply grunted, seemingly satisfied with what he had done. That is until a shadow towered over him and he found himself going back into a deep blackness. He collapsed and lay there silently sleeping as Thomas stood over him with tears in his eyes.
Rapidly, before anyone else could see what the young one had done he lifted Armaroq off the ground and ran to his van. Placing Armaroq in the back seat he sighed and got into the front seat. He drove a few miles away from the house, just far enough for Armaroq to forget how to get back. He slowly went into the backseat and lifted the boy once more, only to place him on the grass before him. He gazed up afterwards and scanned the area for anyone that may of seen him, then he looked down at the sleeping child once more. "I'm sorry Armaroq..." He muttered. "Maybe someone out there can take care of you...I just can't handle your outbursts any longer..." With that said he ran back to his van and turned the car around. Taking one last look at Armaroq he shook his head and sped home with hopes that someone with a big heart and an open mind would love his son as he wished he could have.

It was Wren who had found 'the angel' by the side of the road the next morning during her daily walk through the path that led from her home to the highway. Both flabergasted and perplexed at the sight of the sleeping boy she assumed that he was a sign from the heavens and scooped him into her arms before running back down the pathway. Sprinting as if she were being chased by a tiger she reached the house where her husband, Xavier, met her at the door. Before he could make any sound she had pushed by him and laid the slumbering child on their couch. Checking his pulse she nodded with a sigh of relief; he was still alive. Scanning him over for a few seconds she yelled out. "Xavier! Get a wash cloth!"
Soon Xavier was in the room with a wet wash cloth in hand. Rushing over to the couch he almost couldn't stop staring at the boy before him. He was simply remarkable to the young scientist. Passing the wash cloth to Wren she quickly went to cleaning 'the angel's' skin because of all the dirt and mess from the night before had accumulated on his pale peach body. Once that was completed the pair stood and watched him as he slept with hope that he would soon return to a consious state.
After a while the winged child's right eye flickered open to reveal a cloudy lime green orb. He gazed left and right with it but could only see two colored figures standing before him. Reaching a hand out to the closest figure which happened to be a light yellow color he felt it being grasped rather lightly. He didn't seem to recognize the feeling of the hand as he had nearly memorized every hand and aura in his previous home, but it felt safe and kind so he figured he could trust it. Then the other aura moved to put a hand on his forehead, it was a grey blue color and it felt soothing to him. He had instantly known that this wasn't his home by just the meer scent of it and plus it was way too quiet. But it didn't really click to him that he had been abandoned just yet. Sitting up straight in order to get a closer look at the two people in front of him he could make out a woman and a man. He smiled widely at them and tilited his head. "Hey, do you know where I am?" He asked. "This place doesn't feel familiar...Do you two know how I got here?"
Wren squeaked slightly when he spoke, she had been focusing mainly on his one open eye with a perplexed look. Why was only one of his eyes opening? Maybe he hurt his other eye in a fight? She peered closer in on his open eye and noticed the cloudyness instantly. Her hand went over her mouth and she turned her head to Xavier with a sad look. "H-he's going blind Xavier..." She whispered. "The poor boy..." She gazed to the 'angel' and then to the floor.
Xavier had already picked up on the boy's blindness and shook his head with a sigh. He moved to the couch and sat next to the demon angel mix. He placed a hand on the other's shoulder and took a deep breath. "My wife found you lying by the highway about an hour ago..." He began, taking the boy's hand and holding it gently. "You were completely unconsious up until this point. We believe you've been abandoned..." The last few words he spoke were soft and trailed off quickly. He felt terrible for the boy. Who in their right mind would abandon such a child? He seemed perfectly nice.
The boy tilted his head further but he looked like he had registered it when tears came from his eyes. Abandoned? Wasn't that what happened to his older brother? He didn't understand, what did he do that was so wrong that made his family abandon him? It couldn't possibly be that. No. No it could not be that! His lip began to quiver as the tears fell down his cheeks. He tried to remember everything he had done in the past that would have made his father mad. Nothing really big to him came to his mind. He closed his open eye and covered his face with his hands. He sobbed loudly through them and his wings folded to his back. He was angry at his family but they must've been really angry at him for whatever he had done so this made him invert his anger to himself. He couldn't possibly be angry at these people, they were too kind. So all he could do was cry...
Wren sensed his anger and sadness due to her empathetic powers and sat down on the other side of the boy. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug while humming 'hush little baby.' She hoped that this would calm him down.
Just as Wren had hoped the boy's cries discipated and he wiped his eyes on his sleeve. His face looked quite red and puffy after crying and his voice cracked when he spoke. "My papa would never do this..." He stated, sniffling afterwards. "It must've been Shefen, he doesn't like me. He's a lousy big brother..." His eyes seemed distant when he spoke of his brother.
Xavier gasped when the boy said his brother's name. He recognized the name rather quickly and stared in shock. It couldn't have been one of the Linderhills! They were so compassionate and he couldn't even fathom Shefen or even Thomas doing such a thing! But could it be? He remembered Thomas sending a letter to him a few months back about a new addition to his family and it had said that the new addition was a toddler boy from a place called Seven of Seven. Thomas had gone on to describe the boy a tad further and he said that his name was Armaroq. Xavier gulped, could his good old friend Thomas have abandoned one of his own? He just had to ask. "Hey, kid..." He said in his soft voice. "Is your name Armaroq?"
The boy lifted his head to look at Xavier but hesitated for a few seconds before spesaking. "Y-yes..." He said, pausing before speaking again. "Why do you ask sir?"
Xavier looked as if a brick had hit him clear in the head. This kid was not only abandoned on their front lawn but dropped on their laps by his dear old friend Thomas Linderhill. Before he could answer Armaroq he jumped up from his seat on the couch and rushed into the kitchen. Grabbing the phone off the counter he frantically searched for the letter 'L' on the electonic address book. Pressing the call button miliseconds later he raised it to his ear and listened for the deep voice he had grown up with many many years ago.

((Again, the Linderhills are being used with permission from Valedia))
It rang about three times until somebody picked up. To Xavier's dismay it wasn't Thomas' voice but a sweet melodious voice that had answered the phone. He realized it was Mary Noel and sighed before asking her where Thomas was. She put the phone down and said she was going to get him. Tapping his foot for what seemed like an eternity he finally heard his 'good' friend's voice.
"Hello?" Thomas muttered, Xavier figured he was tired from the long night's drive to and from his home.
"Hey Tom you ol' goat!" Xavier exclaimed, almost half excited which rapidly dissapeared. "Er, I mean. Hey Thomas...Tired from your long drive here last night?"
"...Zave?" Thomas began, not really fully undestanding his friend. But then there was a pause before the next sentence he spoke. "...How did you know I drove out by you last night?"
Xavier had to supress a growl and took a second to regain some calmness. "Well, appears my wife found YOUR son by the highway outside of our house last night..." He managed to get out without yelling. "Want to enlighten me on this concept of abandoning your own children on your friend's property?"
There was another long pause from the other end of the line for a minute or so. Xavier growled loudly which got Thomas to speak again. "Look, I need you to take care of him." he muttered. "He's a sweet and gentle boy but when he gets angry...He turns to a full out demon..."
"Well that's no reason to go and knock him out and drop him here!" Xavier barked. "You've changed quite a lot since I last saw you Tom. I would have never thought-"
"Let me speak to Armaroq." Thomas had cut him off before he could yell at him again. "I have something to tell him..."
Xavier blinked at the sudden interruption but quickly turned and walked back into the living room with the phone outstretched to Armaroq. "Here, your dad wants to speak to you." He mumbled.
Armaroq smiled and took the phone egarly. "Papa?" He asked in a sweet voice. "I'm sorry for what I did, I promise I won't do it again!" He didn't even know what he had done but he still apologized as if he knew.
A light chuckle could be heard from the phone. It was a mock chuckle though, the kind that you could pick up on easily. Buy since Armaroq was so easily tricked Thomas figured it'd be passed without a thought. "Well Armaroq..." He began. "Papa doesn't really want you here with him anymore...You do too many bad things. You are to stay with Wren and Xavier until you don't do any more bad things...'Kay?"
Armaroq's right eye widened, he couldn't believe what he was hearing! His father didn't want him to come home? This hurt the child to the point where he began shouting into the phone. "No! I want to come home right now! Please papa! I promise I'll be a good boy! I won't do anymore bad things! I promise I won't!" Tears rolled down his cheeks again. He was so confused and upset he didn't hear the phone start beeping signifying that Thomas had long since hung up. However Xavier took the phone away and began screaming into it.
"THOMAS!? THOMAAAAAS! OH FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!" He slammed the phone down on the table and growled loudly. He was not only pissed off but he had just lost all respect in his good friend. Taking three deep breaths and letting them out slowly he turned to Armaroq and put a hand on the boy's shoulder again. "I'm so sorry Armaroq...But it looks like you're going to have to stay with us for a little while. We'll try to get Thomas back on the phone again tom-"
"No." Armaroq stated firmly. "I don't want to talk to him ever again! He's mean!" His face was red again and he looked like he was trying to hold back more tears. Wren nodded and wiped his eyes with a tissue.
"We don't need mean people like that in our lives..." She replied with a soft smile. "Now come, we'll show you to 'your' room." She helped Armaroq to his feet and led him down the hallway.
Xavier stayed sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. This was all so sudden and unexpected. He now had a son to take care of and an angel and demon mix son at that! This just had to be a dream, he had only just gotten married to Wren a year ago! What was he going to do now?! He had a good job; but he wasn't sure if it would pay for another person to eat and have the necessities they needed! And how the heck was he going to find this Seven of Seven place? Its not like a letter would suddenly come in the mail tomorrow morning stating everything about his new son. Then again, it could happen. This had happened just as sudden as that could.

The first night.
Armaroq lay on a bed in his new room that very night. The room wasn't that big to be honest but it was all that Wren and Xavier had to offer. At least it had a nice color scheme, forest green walls with everything else brown or mahogany. He had to admit that he quite liked it, even though he couldn't see much of it. The bed was comfortable too and it took up a quarter of the room. The blankets he was under were very soft and fuzzy, he was nice and warm even though it was a cold night. His old room he had to share with Shefen. Boy did that name sting him now. Everytime he thought of his former 'brother' he wanted to punch a hole in the wall. It was like nothing he had ever felt before. He wanted to find him and kick him so hard that it would knock him out. He didn't know exactly why Shefen bothered him so much, but all he could seem to remember was Shefen yelling at him and then complete darkness. It wasn't normal for him to just black out like that when someone was yelling at him. Something or someone must've knocked him out. He wanted to figure out who could've done it but he let out a yawn and turned on his side. He needed some sleep, today was such a shock on his emotional system. And it was nearly twelve o'clock midnight. But the room lacked a clock on the bedside table, so he just figured it was still nine-ish. As he drifted off to sleep his right eye closed and his left eye peeked open slightly. It was a slightly darker color than his right eye, almost a deep green. He looked to be fully asleep in minutes but his left eye stayed open just a little. It was watching out for something while the boy slept comfortably.
Although Armaroq looked comfortable as he slept his mind was racing quite rapidly. His thoughts tied together and nightmares began. He started to kick around and sweat, clearly in distress. He grunted out random words in his sleep like 'no' or 'fly' but the most prominent was 'papa.' His wings started to flap and he hovered a little but he did not take off and go more than an inch off the ground. Then he was screaming. "NO! GET BACK HERE!" He screamed. "I'M SORRY!"
Soon enough this startled Wren awake and she dashed into the room. She rushed to Armaroq's side and shook him awake. "Armaroq! Sweety! Wake up!" She exclaimed. "Are you alright?!"
Armaroq jolted up and quickly went to clinging to Wren. Tears rolled down his face yet again as he sobbed into her shoulder. "Wreeeen!" He wailed. "There was lots of fire and my papa got burned by it n' I tried to heal him but he ran away! I'm sorry I woke you up but I was real scared!" He sniffled but yawned immediatly after and flopped back down on the bed...Fully asleep again.
Wren blinked twice but gave a sweet smile as he fell back asleep. It was just a dream, good. She was thankful that he was alright. As she turned to leave Xavier ran in to see what was going on. Just one look to his wife told him that it was just a nightmare. Breathing a sigh of relief he followed Wren back to their bedroom for some much needed rest.

Parental journal entry
Journal writer: Xavier Sussman Topic: Various... Entry:
Dear Journal,
For all of the god damned things to happen in one day it had to be this. Early this morning Wren went out for a walk. She wasn't even gone three minutes when she came running back down the hill with a winged boy in her arms. That's right WINGED. So she calls him an angel and places him on the couch. Now, this kid wakes up a few minutes later and he's apparently blind and not JUST an angel but a demon too! I mean he has horns AND wings! How'd he become that way?! Well, turns out he's from a special lab called Seven of Seven. But not only THAT he was abandoned by his father WHO was my long lost friend Thomas Linderhill! I admit I haven't seen Thomas for about a year but we have kept in contact through letters and he had written about a boy he had adopted from Seven of Seven. He was named Armaroq and just on a hunch I asked the poor shaken child his name and sure enough it was a match.
I was enraged at how my old friend could have driven here and then dropped his own son by the highway for us to find. That kid could have been kidnapped, exploited or killed. I may not be a father but at least I have my morals and I know that is wrong. So I call this old crack pot up and he puts on this mock story of how Armaroq was a full evil demon. The poor kid was crying for his father for Christ's sake! But no, he had to go and upset Armaroq even further by saying he wasn't wanted at home. Then he hangs up before I can even get a chance to fully show him how mad I can get. I composed myself enough to ask Armaroq if he'd like to try talking to his dad again but man he looked so distant and pissed that he said he never wanted to associate with him again. I couldn't blame him. I wouldn't want to be abandoned, told you weren't wanted back and then talk to the person who did it to you again. Just the thought of it makes me want to go and find this man and set him so straight that he looks like a bloody pencil. It pisses me off that much.
If Armaroq was really that bad he should have gotten a counselor or something. But it's too late now. I'm going to protect that boy with everything I have. He's my responsibility now. I'm never going to give up on him even if he burns the house down, which he probably won't. He's just confused and can't find his happy medium bewteen wrath and kindess. All he needs is help and strong guidance. He will turn out just fine.
Anyway, Wren's telling me to turn off the bedroom light so we can get some rest. I'll write more at a later date.
-Xavier

Armaroq Journal #1
Dear journal,
Hey, I guess this is the first time I'm writing. It's nice to meet you journal... I'm writing from under the blankets of my new bedroom...No. I didn't get moved from Shefen's room...I got Aban-...Left here with some friends of my papa's for the rest of my life. At first I didn't like it because I thought my papa wanted me to come home but it turned out to be the opposite. He wanted me to stay with Wren and Xavier. I was real upset but Wren told me that they'd take care of me forever and they would never leave me. That made me really happy. At least I won't have to share my room anymore. That's a good thing, Shefen snored a lot...
I hate Shefen. I think he made papa leave me here. He's really mean to me and he's arrowgant. (I think it's spelt that way) He's selfish and never lets me play with his toy trains. He never touches them anyway, they're all just on a shelf way up high where I can't get them. They're really dusty too. He's a jerk and I hate him with every part of me. He was never my brother, he was just there to make me mad. I don't like his older kid too, Ericka. She's always pulling at the feathers on my wings and calling me a weirdo for how I don't want to play games with her. She's really arrowgant too. I really hope her little sister Erin doesn't become like her or my papa will be in big trouble with three meanies in the house.
I don't like my papa. He wasn't really nice to me. He just pretended to be nice to me until he got a chance to aban- leave me here. Now that I think of it my whole family was mean to me! They were all jerks! They never loved me! They never wanted me! I wish they were all cursed! Grrrrr. No, that's too mean. That'd be real bad for me to wish on them. They did feed me and give me clothes and presents. So I guess they don't deserve to be cursed...BUT THEY ARE STILL JERKS!
Why did they leave me?! I don't understand! I cleaned my room and ate my veggies. I didn't fight with people...Much. But I always said I was sorry! I was a good boy! What did I do wrong?! GRRRRR. I'm the worst person alive! I should've never been born! I hate the Earth! Where's the stop button I wanna get off!
I'm sleepy...I gotta go to bed now. I'll write soon. Promise. I'm sorry I have to go so soon but I'm too sleepy. I'll try to write more tomorrow. I promise...I'll never leave you behind journal. 'Cause we're friends. You know my secrets and I'll keep yours. 'Kay? Nigh Nigh journal...I'm sorry...See you tomorrow. Bye Bye.
Love,
Armaroq Chase Linderhill Sussman

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:
Letter Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following: Guardians Name: Child's Name: Sin: Virtue: Gender: Current Attitude: Likes: Dislikes: Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars ) Current hair style: Current clothing preferences: Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue) Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them? As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs. Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc. Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up. Thank you.
You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.
(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)
