The blue and green in her eyes whirled with a little yellow then as concern for the girl came to the fore. Senoth turned back to Sellae and whuffed at her, offering a silly grin, as she nosed closer to the Candidate. Not overfond of speaking to other people, she tossed a comment back to G'ail as he set about laying out the items of their dinner, <<Mine... She is frightened of me... What did I do?>>
Looking over to where the dragon was practically trying to appear both fluffy and innocent and acheiving only an entertaining posture of confused concern, he shook his head, Remember some Candidates died at the Hatching... I believe she's been unnerved by that.
<<Oh... but... the young ones do not know better. Theirs is so important, the only thing... It is not deliberate...>> She bugled softly, drawing nearer Sellae as she tried to appear as unimposing as possible. The bubbly pie, however, was a great temptation and the green reached out daintily to gently nom the pie from the open hand, careful of the flesh beneath. Tossing her head in appreciation of the tasty treat, Senoth smiled at the girl with a nose stained the colour of the berries. <<Thank-you!>>
"She says thank-you, by the way!" G'ail called, having sat down and begun to nibble on the snacks they'd brought, "Are you two coming? Food's over here." Waving, the rider grinned at them.

Sellae smiled again finally, reaching out to gingerly wipe some of the pie from the green's nose. "You're welcome, Senoth." She scooted around the green, moving towards G'ail to help him set out the food, if there was anything left. If there wasn't, she picked up one of the meatrolls and bit into it with enthusiasm, as her stomach gave a deep rumble.
She flushed, embarrassed by the noise. "I haven't eaten much today. Got sidetracked. My apologies."

Senoth whuffled appreciatively as Sellae wiped her mouth and flicked her green tongue out to lick what remained, a look of amusement upon her draconic features. Tossing her head as she turned and followed Sellae to curl up around both of them, she lay her head in G'ail lap with a content sigh - a motion he instinctively shifted to accomodate and started to pet her eye ridges. It was easy to see a strong bond between them then, as he glanced to his dragon with a look of love one reserved only for the most important people in your life.
When the girl's stomach rumbled, the rider looked over to her and grinned, "You should eat then, Sellae. No need to apologize - you shouldn't ignore yourself, don't want to catch cold."
