My marching band competition is on wednesday i think its UIL or other one after UIL im not sure But i hope make it to state which is in like a week or two

This year we participated in:
Carrollton Tournament of Champions (2nd in Prelims/3rd in Finals)-9/26/09
Mesquite Marching Festival (Best Band Overall, Best 5A Band, Best Drum Majors, Best Horn Line, 1st Division)-10/3/09
Little Elm Marching Classic on the Lake (1st in Prelims/1st in Finals (Grand Champions), Outstanding Marching/Musical Performance/General Effect/Percussion)-10/10/09
UIL Region 3-10/21/09 (postponed to 10/26/09)

Muffin Moosh There's a band review there in November. I'm randomly curious if any of my fellow gaianians are going with their band. Oh wow. I didn't even know Pismo had a band review. I might go see that on my own then. : ) I know for sure my band isn't going though. Have you heard of the Clark Center's Band Festival? It's in April-ish.

Our band never wants to make finals. Except for the 7th grade(which are in high band also).....their new. But our band just wants to go home. It's funny. If they ever called our name for finals we probably wouldn't yell (we'd probably say"aaaaawww!"....except for our band directer. lol

Well - i live down south in GA
Lakeside High School > w <
our music theme is "Wish" and songs are as followed
1) Lion king *circle of life, can't wait to be king, & Scar music*
2) little mermaid *part of your world*
3 Mulan *make a man out of you* (fave song in the movie > w <)
our drum majors are dressed as tinkerbell and use glitter at the beginning of the show!
though the judges don't seem to think it as a good visual or even a +1 point for the drum majors :
if voting was based on the crowd - we would SO win major points
our next competition is this Saturday (hoping it is the last too) but i have no clue where it is since i ave no room for a band class this year (just in marching band ^^)

It's the same with us. But the Clark Center is in Arroyo Grande, so travel costs are pretty cheap. We go every year. (I'm a Central Coast-er)

Hmmm well my school just had a competition and won first place. Then this saturday its an overnight trip to a Fresno competition. Idk im a freshman to the band so i don't memorize things >>; Then after that we have one more then its state. Look for the blue and black uniforms with the blue feathery plumes ;3

Destiny with a flute solo and Baritone solo
On the Waterfront, which just sounds horrible because we cut parts and made it 15 measures and its in 7 4 time sig...

UPDATE:
+Selma+
-We won second for our division. (Middle of Five Diff Divisions.)
-Our Color Guard won Second for our division.
-OUR PERCUSSION WON FIRST!!!!!!!!!Bwogwueghoquvgoboiedfnqpowpoafivaspifna;owrpfkf]gevmlqwifhoqwspghneifhdcjueo78t43!!1!
-Oh, and our Field Drum Major won second.
Over all it was good. There were four bands in our division. FREAKING REEDLY DIDN'T PLACE! And Manache won the over-all sweepstakes award for the 25 year in a row. XD The announcer didn't even get the sentence out. As soon as he said "For the..." the entire Manache Marching Band started screaming and yelling and practically ripped off the band barriers that were keeping the members off the field. XD They put on a really good show, so they deserved it...Reedly was really pissed though...but no offence to them or anything, they're marching was almost always off step...and their music was not very entertaining. Syncronization wise though, they were spot on.
P.S. Siera Marching Band FTW!!! I freakin' love you guys!
