I've seen the movies and part of the anime. I was thinking why don't they make a movie in the States, but the remakes seem to suck. And this really is a Japanese thing. I mean with the Shinigami. We don't have them here. Zac Efron would be good as whoever. I dont' know who the cast would be, but I hope it's good. I'd see it. I probably won't like it, but i'd see it.

well if they do make one wether it sucks or not id see it it whould be better then the crappy DBZ live-action film but cast wise idk who whould do it im an actor myself and if i was able to do this i whpuld grab L right away but its a hope

Zac Effron is a bad singer and a pin-up boy, all i ask is that L and Light have decent actors, they deserve so much better than Zac crying

I think Zac is perfect for Light. I have given this a lot of thought and he was my first choice!(I have told everyone I know) Think about it,he looks like Light(Preppy, popular with the girls) and he is the last person someone would expect to have a death note.(for those who don't know the story) I can't believe I am not the only one out there that thought of him. I personally do not like Zac, but as long as he can act(he got good reviews for new Orson Wells movie) then i think he is the best choice. As for L...not quite sure.... could make or break the movie....

I don't like Light's character anyway, so as long as he has that epic Matsuda filled death, i don't care. But L and the rest of the task force, mells, matt, and near have to be AMAZING. And when i see it to see how they screw it up, i'll see it again, and yell things at the screen.
Although, miley cyrus is even more annoying than Misa. She could pull it off. And i'd laugh very loudly in the theatre, so all those little girls who love their Hannah Montana, and their Twilight, can see how cool the REAL death note fans are.
