"******** you b***h!" Elzo stomped off angrily to the pole he'd kick before. He just glared daggers at his brother, who was doing his best to act calm. "I see. Well, considering I had it under my name and paid the insurance for it, I'm positive I did indeed own it." Marlo kicked the bike a bit gently. "Plus, why would I ask offer parts I could sell if I stole it? It would have been better form me to do it myself and trash the evidence. Why would I ask to have the frame back?" He began to smile as he ran his hands over what reminded of his once beloved bike. "Anyway, I still would like to pay you for your work." "I'd pay her in a good-" "Ignore him, please. You'll only feed his...angst."

Perhaps if the girl had been a bit slow, she might not have noticed that the boys had dodged the actual question.
Dully, she responded "Yes, yes... all good enough reasons." Then in a slightly more demanding tone (though it was still quite polite) "As payment, I'd like ya t'tell me why you are at Hillworth."
Straight to the point. No mistakes. With that, she crossed her arms as she waited for her payment.

Her question caught both boys off gaurd, making them freeze in place. It was a touchy subject at best. "Uhhh..." "Umm..." They looked at each other before Elzo gave Marlo a small nod. "At our last school Elzo got into a fight over a girl, and sent the other guy to the hospital. Then the girl said he'd tried to...beat her" "She was a back stabbing b***h and lied about why I got into the fight in the first place. When Marlo tried to defend me, she said he's tried to...well, do worse then what she said I did. Uhg, she was the worst." Both boys scowled at the memory.
"The charges were dropped due to the fact she had no evidence, and her story was totally fake." "And by fake we mean we had an alibi and her's was actually, you know, honest." Elzo's voice was grating. It was obvious that the memory had left him with a bad taste in his mouth. Marlo continued. "While we got off clean and she was charged with lying to a grand jury, out folks got the idea that they didn't want us getting getting into fights anymore. So, not by requirement, but by our parents, we were sent to Hillworth." "Hehe...the fact we also kept getting kicked out of our old schools because I'd get into fights kinda helped push the decision." "You're fault, not mine." "True." Looking at Ellie, Marlo's face was...well he was giving her a 'THERE HAPPY NOW?' type look. It seemed both boys held a bit of bitterness over the situation.

The tone of the whole conversation totally changed, and the blonde girl easily caught on. Thank goodness she wasn't the stereotypical ditzy blonde. She listened with a completely neutral expression on her face, taking in the facts.
For a moment after the explanation had been given, there was a moment of silence. The first thing Ellie offered was a simple "Sucks balls."
She wasn't one to dwell over a subject too long that was remotely emotional, otherwise she would have been just like 30 million other chicks out there in the world. She had her facts, and she could smear it in Jared's face that she wasn't assisting in a crime.
Hitching up her backpack again, she then turned towards the path she needed to take home. "Yer debt's cleared! I'll see y'both around, Marlo and *sshole." Now wasn't an appropriate time for a fist bump, so as she once more hitched up her shorts, she began to walk. Not exactly the most endearing of farewells, but the current scenario didn't really lend well to such.

Her reaction seemed to olny faze the brothers a bit more. It was, odd at best. She didn't run away screaming. Maybe she was, dare they think it, sane? Oh well, if they didn't hurry back, they'd miss dinner. "You get to drag it back Elli." Elzo glared. "Why the fu-" "..." Marlo's glare shut Elzo up fast. He was in the shitter, that was for sure. "Good bye Ellie!" "Bye b***h!" The boys called out as the turned own the road. Ecah one had a diffrent view of the girl, and they were sure they wanted see her a gain, if for diffrent reasons.
