Instead of finding the mental image funny, she looked enraptured. "Singing on the edges of the weyrbowl. They could perform for us instead of us for them." she grinned. "The Rainbow Concerto."
She glanced at the sky, trying to judge the time. And then she flew to her feet, thinking about the time making her think about... "Oh, I have- Folen, may I meet you at the barracks after dinner? I forgot I have to take care of something before dinner, and then go pitch more dung, and I don't know if I'll have time to make it by the tailor after all." She might not even make it to dinner, if she didn't get this done! "Do you mind? We can go to the tailor together." she looked embarrassed, genuinely apologetic. "I'm so sorry, Folen!"

Folen shook his head, with a smile. "There's nothing to apologize for. Our time is not our own. Go on then. I should probably find my way to the mending myself. If I get a bit extra done I can get in the drudges good graces. And of course I don't mind. I'll be fine with the mending. And I think I have washing up in the kitchens tomorrow. So you don't have to worry on account of my hands, And of course I would love to go with you to see the Tailor. I'll see if I can't find out where the Tailor's shop is. Why don't we meet by the barracks tomorrow at break we can run then?"

"That sounds great, Folen." Jada was horribly grateful she had such a good friend. She hugged him warmly and fled with a speed born of desperation. "Thank you again!" she called back, and was gone.
