"Well we're off to see Aliya," Feng waved.

The mers didn't have cloaks but they weren't as affected by the cold, they could dive deep which was usually cold. Though Naida looked a bit sleepy out in the cold. She clung to her mother as the mers went off in their own direction.

Toshiro wore black and had a leather coat on, he was perfectly fine without a cloak. Though he was probably going to need something for his wings if he stayed out long enough. He followed, not wanting to stay out.

Kara paused long enough to wrap Hope and Faith up in blankets before continuing, it wouldn't do any good for the children to catch a cold and they weren't as tough as all her previous children.

Donovan, sighed a bit, from the look of the snow the chances of a hunt was slim. If they were nearing winter it would be a bad thing to go out now.

Meanwhile all the way in Haven, Miyu was still running. Miraculously she wasn't mi-ing as she doing so. She rushed into the barracks bringing in the cold air. Not that she noticed she was a child of the cold.

"Mi....." Miyu murmured breaking her no mi-ing spree, as she made her way up the stairs.

Miyu stopped short of the door it had been tempted to just yank it open and go in but her manners reminded her that wasn't a proper thing to do. Though she would rather be anywhere than near....

She knew it was bad, she knew it was quite a while ago (well not overly so considering her age) but still! She knew, but she was terrified of Corrah, and she would find no help in Armus who obviously would agree with him, and Lin was traveling so she wasn't around.

Though she had to remind herself of Toshiro, but Toshiro.... he was so small compared to Corrah even if he wasn't scared.

She skittered right on in and clung to his hand... and arm, which was attached to his hand. It was probably the most extreme fear she had in a while, but to be fair it hadn't been that long to Miyu since she was a child. It didn't matter she probably had a job to do, she did not want to leave.

If Toshiro knew how much Miyu was afraid he would probably be bashing his head against the nearest wall. Being connected to Miyu, he knew exactly how strong Miyu's magic was. Honestly she had nothing to be afraid of, technically speaking.

Miyu nodded at this nervously her head bobbing up and down. She couldn't help it, really she couldn't.

"Mi.... scary...."

Miyu all but flopped onto his bed, she tried not to fidget, it wasn't like she had anywhere else to go that she would feel safe. It wasn't like she even knew the other fighters well... well maybe except the ones that her Auntie knew.

"He said something about being useful," Miyu sat on her hands to keep from playing with them, "But Idhril invited them....."

That was probably the first problem, Idhril had invited them without asking how everyone else felt. Not that it would help she thought glumly, Idhril said that if they were nice to them, they would be nice. She sort of made it sound to Miyu like it was their fault for that terrible first impression.

"I don't think Idhril would like that...." Miyu murmured.

She wigged as she really just wanted to fiddle with her fingers. Deep down Miyu knew she shouldn't be so scared but it was really hard not to be! It was one of those times she wished she was braver.

Miyu wouldn't have ever thought of stop visiting, sure she would probably run all the way to his room but... she nodded at this and took his hand timidly rising to her feet.

"Okay... mi...."

Toshiro didn't see Miyu anywhere in sight, he was beginning to wonder how much time really did past in only the span of a second or two. Of course he also knew she could skitter really, really fast when she wanted to.

"Here we are," Donovan broke Toshiro's musings, "This is Haven."

He was saying this more for the two newcomers if they were going to be living here and working here he was going to have to treat them like anyone else. Even if he didn't like it, as he reminded himself there are a lot of things in life he didn't like, but he sucked it up and did them anyways.
