Airi had been looking before, for other lost Fa'e? And she'd found one, too, an ocean away from where Zaoll had been... "That was not very intelligent," said she, tapping her fingertips of one hand against the side of her head. "Perhaps I was not in danger then, but you were? That would explain it, eh..."
She shrugged. Airi had rendered her a great service. Admittedly, one that she would not have needed nor asked for otherwise, but there was no point in questioning things now. What was done was done. "Do you ever miss Earth?"

"From what I gather, everyone not on Gaia was in danger." He now had a couple more things he was going to want to ask Airi...not that he was sure he'd get an answer, or that he'd trust it, but he'd be asking regardless.
"Not really," he answered. "There's a lot to get used to, but I like it better here."

She would not doubt, yet still she had to. If everyone not on Gaia was in danger, why had Airi - or an agent of hers - found her? Or... she shuddered to think of him in her worry, but why not Astor, either? "My Guardian and I traveled often," said Zaoll after a moment, "This is why." It had to be why.
Yes, she supposed it would be better to never again have to hide inside the house, but... "I miss Rome," she said after a moment. "There is very little stone here. It is.. uncomfortable." After this admission - seemingly small, but for Zaoll letting go of anything relating to her own feelings was difficult - she made a gesture as if to ward off evil.
Well, he didn't look like he was ready to leave, so it might be good to ask another question: "Who were the other Fa'e in my dream? The purple genie, the one with the orbs, and the angry black one?"

It was...plausible, he had to admit, but he wasn't sure he believed it. Still, he decided to leave it be for the moment. Zaoll had only just arrived, and he probably shouldn't overwhelm her with conspiracy theories where their creator was concerned. Yet.
That gesture she'd made twice now was...odd. "The purple one was Riven," he answered, "The one with orbs was Sei, and the angry one was Astaroth." His dislike of the demon was obvious in his expression. "Sei's the only one I really know."

"It is a sign to ward off evil," said Zaoll, wondering if that was the reason behind the odd look she was receiving. She made it once more, obviously this time; just her index fingers crossed, forming the shape of a cross.
She listened attentively to him, and then nodded. "You don't like Astaroth?"

"Oh, I see," he said, appreciating that she took the time to repeat it slowly. It made him wonder if she was religious, but he didn't ask. Instead, he explained his dislike of Astaroth, "He's a demon, and I'm an angel." Mik shrugged. "So it's mutual."

"Un demone e un angelo," she mused, because it made an absurd amount of sense. Then she sighed and shrugged. She would make decisions based on people, not on their species, but she had to wonder if it would be possible to be friendly towards and angel and a demon at the same time. Well - best not to rock that boat now. "Eh," she said, "I cannot relate, but I understand."
Or she thought she did. Maybe she did. Zaoll didn't want to fuss over that, either.

"We're Fa'e before anything else, but...some of us are more like we used to be than others," he explained. Astaroth, for instance, was a jerk, while Morty and Tzao-Hyung were just fine. He was perfectly willing to give people a chance, but Astaroth had been somewhat less than friendly from the start.
After a pause, the redhead asked, "Is there, um...anything you need? Anything you'd like to know?"

Ah... All right, Zaoll thought, she could keep track of something like that. She did wonder, though, how you knew how alike your past life you were. Did you ever really find out?
"Just one more question," said Zaoll, "how do you know who you were?" Because as far as she knew, she was just a statue brought to life.

"It...varies from Fa'e to Fa'e," Mik said after a moment's pause. "Someone from my...past told me. And for some it can be dangerous," he added as a warning. "More often than not, it seems like."

Damn. All signs pointed to this Fa'e thing not exactly being the safest, steadiest sort of life. She shook her head to herself, then looked back to Mikhail. "Grazie," she said, bowing her head as one did to an elder, but only reluctantly. Offering honor to others always been reluctant; she felt like it should be the other way around, most times, but. Mikhail had rendered her two great services - answering the call of her dream without holding it against her, and then telling her more about her... heritage, for lack of a better word. "Did you come to look for something?"
She was rather tired, and her quiet voice was turning very hoarse very quickly. Zaoll usually didn't talk this much in a month, let alone a few minutes.
