Well finally finished the ME1 game with Kaiden as a LI.
WTF?! WHAT A JERK! You'd think he'd be a little more sensitive towards Shepard, you know, since she's ALIVE! I realize her death traumatized him, thats reasonable and it explains his lack of affection. But instead of trying to catch up with her, or say schedule a date, he bloody jumps to conclusions! Man it was just accusation after accusation! I almost wish there had been an option to slap him.
"Omg! Why didn't you try to contact me!?"
"Uhm...sorry? I was kind unconscious but I'm really sorry and I-"
"You betrayed me Shepard! Dx! You're working with Cerberus! I don't know who you are anymore."
"D:....Did he just break up with me? -_-‘ a*****e."
Kaiden is currently on my "dislike" list. I mean, come now. Even Garrus and Tali put aside their distrust for a pro-human extremist group, to help Shepard. Hell, Cerberus even attacked Tali’s Flotilla and she still decides to come along for the sake of looking after her old friend. I dunno, am I the only one who thinks that Kaiden should be shot in the foot? I loled when I got his apology, if you want to call it that. I’m curious to see what the “consequences” will be when he finally decides to come back only to see my Shepard with Garrus. Snooze you lose! Okay, end rant : P

favorite character(s): Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy, Garrus, Thane, Grunt and Legion (Geth was a nice change of pace)
Least favorite(s): Ashley, Liara, Jack, and Udyna(i dont care how to spell his name i hate his guts)

Favorite characters: Garrus heart because he's funny, cool and he just always knows the right thing to say and Kaiden heart because he reminds me of Carth xd
Least Favorites: I wasn't a great fan of Jack and omg for some reason I really hate Zaeed.

Tali and Legion were my favorites but Wrex was close
I actually didn't like Samara and Miranda

Favorite - It's a tie between Wrex and Liara. The way their characters are developing intrigue me. Tali gets runner up points for being so adorable heart
Least Favorite - Jack. I mean I understand the woman has issues but goddamn do I want to strangle her everytime she whines about something stressed

Favorite- Kaidan (for all the reasons Soren said, so I'm not gonna be repetitive), Captain/ Councilor Anderson (because he punched Udina in the face!), Wrex (do I really need to explain?), Thane (i loved him ever since you first saw him drop in and kill Nassana Dantius ),Joker (cause he's so funny), and Garrus (because he's a total bad*** and he's funny)
Least favorite- ZAEED (I freaking hate his guts, he's annoying, and I just wish I could do something about him killing the batarian when you recruit him), Udina (he's so annoying, not to mention he stabs you in the back multiple times), the turian councilor (idk why, he just seems the most whiny and annoying of the 3 in ME1), and Miranda (she really gets on my nerves because her personality really is kinda bland, and all she ever does is whine about being genetically altered)

My favorite character was, without a shadow of a doubt, Tali'Zorah vas Neema nar Rayya. She's like the extremely intelligent, practical, introverted and somewhat nerdy exchange student in the back of the room. She's come a long way to be where she is now and she's seen too many horrible things in her original environment, so she makes the most of her time. She's an outsider because of her appearance and her concealed identity, but you sense there's a level of beauty not seen with the naked eye. When you talk to her, you can sense she's very serious and erudite in her rhetoric, but start to talk personal and a level of naive shyness and genuine "cuteness" peeks through the learned exterior.
My least favorite character was Liara T'soni. Honestly, I hated her guts. I'm not fond of the asari in general, but I found Liara to be especially annoying. She's boring in conversation and useless in combat. It's almost as if the only reason she exists is to be a romance option for Shepard, thus allowing players to indulge in a steamy sex scene with a blue alien woman. In my opinion, she fails at that as well. While the romances with Ashley and Kaidan feel real and natural, the romance with Liara feels artificial and forced. The whole thing is based on Liara's infatuation with Shepard and her insistence that they share some sort of "special connection". I hated her even more in Mass Effect 2. In the first game, she was very shy, very bookish sort of character. In the second, she's a cold, heartless b***h obsessed with revenge against the Shadow Broker. She's almost a completely different character, although she's just as boring as before. If you know the story behind it, then her development makes much more sense. Even so, it's difficult to take her seriously.

My favorite character is Mordin Solus. Of all of the characters in the game, he had the best developed background, the most interesting dialogue, the most realistic weaknesses and strengths. Mordin is an enjoyable character, as far as personality goes and I was always eager to check and see if I had new speech options with him after every mission. His interactions with others on the ship is never boring, and as a character he is never condescending or a whiner. He is friendly in his own awkward, dysfunctional way and the encounters never feel forced. His helpful guidance and reluctant friendship with Shepard really make this game for me.
My least favorite character is obviously the famed Tali'Zorah. Sorry fanbois, but your wifu is easily the most boring character in the game. The only reason she is found so enchanting is because of her suit, which adds a mystique and a sense of pride in the player when they're able to coax Tali out of it. She is frankly annoying and blatantly directed at the "typical" basement dwelling gamer. Her "nerdy" appeal is simply that she knows how to handle her omni-tool. Her intelligence isn't really that impressive when she's put next to Mordin, Legion, or even Jacob. She constantly boasts and complains, not to mention her racism when it comes to Legion. If Tali were male, she would have no fans.

In the first game Tali was an interesting character to me first off because of the accent the quarians have, but mainly how she was always talking about the Flotilla everywhere you went. Like a person who is really close to their culture and traditions, you learn where their heart is.
Speaking of which Grunt actually started to become a favorite character of mine, way underrated, mainly through having him in my party a lot. He says the most personality-defining things in the middle of missions and actions Shepard takes, unlike speaking to him on the ship.
