She laughed at his comment of not having kids, flickering eyes towards his own, "how do you know? Some pretty little dame could come along and get you wrapped around her little paw so tight," she murmured with a smirk, "you'd give her anything she wanted. You know, one of the young pretty ones that sweet talk so easy."
Aino's eyes fluttered to his dorsal fin - much more cramped and twisted than her own, the sight of it made her feel rather guilty. After all, she had tackled him, so it was kind of her fault - even if it was only a game gone wrong. "Here, let me help," she whispered, moving towards him. She wasn't the most gentle hearted Feli in the world - but she was experienced with raising kits and whatnot. Not to mention, rather handy at fixing boo boos, as Alauniira called them.

The Rather grumpy Male sat down, his head drooped as he submitted to the females request rather obediantly. "Sure.." he mumbled, almost in a pouting manner. It wasn't that his fin hurt, it was that it just felt weird.
He pondered over the thought of ever getting wrapped around ANYONE'S paw. ".... I don't think I'd enjoy being wrapped around any paw too much.." he mumbled complainitively, his voice souding slightly vexed.

She smiled weakly as she scooted closer to him, around to his back, reaching up with her paws she grasped the dorsal fin between them - then push it back into it's original position with a rather distinct popping noise. She hoped it didn't hurt - but she could feel it shifting back into place between her paws, "there."
She stepped back to survey her work, then sat down slowly, near him. "Yes, well, you never know what could happen, though, I think I'd hate to see you with some pretty little bimbo of a Feli." She laughed softly, shaking her head, "you'd probably end up drowning her after a while."

Kenji winced slightly as his dorsal was snapped back into it's proper position, his fur bristling to keep him from lashing out at the poor little squirrel who was staring at him and chittering..
how not cute.. =-=;;
"... Pretty is nothing." he snorted, standing up once again and stretching out to give his body one last once-over of performance condition. Bing. It was all good now.
"And I probably would drown such a woman as to be stupid, and attempt to seduce me.."
Eyetwitch.

Ainokami's ears twitched at the way the little squirrel chittered - though she couldn't deny that it amused her by picking the most hateful Feli to mess with. Too bad that thing didn't know Kenji would drown it. She moved towards it a little and gave out a hiss, in attempt to make it run off.
She sat there watching him prance and stretch, how arrogant - exactly why she didn't expect a thank you. She smirked though, shaking her head, "well, that clears up any last attempt I might make at that," she said - but it was dripping with sarcasm, so much that it was a surprise you couldn't see it.

Kenji watched the squirrel skitter off after Aino's less-then-becoming hiss at it, chuckling a bit, before looking at the Venus-feli when she spoke again, her voice obvious with sarcasm.
But none-the-less. "I'd find it amusing if you were attempting to do so in the first place." he mused, before one of his ears flattened back against his head and a slight growl came from the Kelpie.
"... My head hurts.." he mentioned, before looking off in the general direction the little Alauniira had been in, barely still able to see the kit.
Not her, then.

A soft smirk plastered to her maw at the sight of the little squirrel skittering off and away from the normally indoor little Aino. She was very pleased with herself - getting rid of the little twirp without really having to put in much effort.
"Why, you don't think I'd try and be unpredictable now and then?" Of course, it was just a joke, she was doing nothing of the sort - but how amusing it was to pretend. She wasn't, and probably never would be, unpredictable. She would always be confidently devilish.
At the mere statement and growl, she glanced in the same direction, able to see her niece. Of course, she figured now, that if her niece did get too close to the lake - Kenji would give her the time to get her away, or at least, she hoped. After all, they were friends now, right?
"Do you.. want to go see what it is?" She asked unsurely, knowing that if it were a Feli, Aino would risk going close enough to the lake to save it - anything else, though, was Kenji's for the taking. It had it's own doom to live, after all, it should no better.

Kenji snorted at the retreating squirrel, then placed one paw gingerly against his head, grumbling complanitively under his breath. He looked to the happy fish-girl (as I so call Aurora as well. XD; ) and quirked a brow at her suggestion to 'go check out' his headache inducing PITA. "Why so interested?" he inquired, having no such curiousity toward it's source.
Either way he'd be sauntering back to his lake to investigate and get rid of it in a timely manner, so it was no big deal to him. He just wasn't caring what it was, thus was curious as to why Aino would want to know such a thing.

She sighed as she pushed herself up onto her paws, watching him for a moment in utter silence, her tail flickering from side to side. The teal eyes watched him, like pools of ice, until she finally spoke, "well, I don't want to put up with you having a bloody headache around me. No doubt it would make you hellaciously grumpy," she muttered, glancing away. "Besides, maybe I actually feel bad that you're in pain. It's not like I wish it on you or anything, I'd like for you to feel better actually."
She looked towards the lake, unable to really see anything, but glance back to him, "besides, if it's some idiotic Feli is near the lake, I'll have to go and drag them out. They should no that is not a place to be swimming." She glanced to him yet again, wondering, if she were to get too close to the lake.. would he drown her too?

Kenji quirked a brow at the masked concern the female had for him, before snorting a little and starting off ahead of Aino, if only to see what it was that was so curiousity inducing for her to see what it was.
He sat barely beyond the trees to stare at the water. There was a fox standing with it's forlegs in the lake, lapping up water from possibly the most disgusting source ever.
None-the-less, though, Kenji had to growl.

She followed him slowly, her tail wavering to and fro in the air as she carefully, skillfully paced her steps in perfect grace behind him. She really was a graceful thing - with the exception of that little tag mishap. That would be best forgotten, tsk.
"Just a fox," she said quietly, sitting down beneath the branches of a tree - not daring to edge closer lest it increase the pain pounding through his head. "Go on, then" she said quietly, eyes turning away from the lake, to instead peer up at the tangled branchs of a nearby tree, "if you must, best do it now."

Kenji shook his head in disappointment. "What in it's right mind would DRINK that stuff?" he mumbled in complaint, before rising to his paws and taking his time to walk towards the fox. Perhaps it'd run off and he wouldn't have to watch it's delightful demise. As delightful as such things were, he didn't need such an ugly looking corpse floating about in his lake.
As opposed to skittering from his lake, as most small forest creatures would have, the fox snapped at Kenji, baring it's teeth, before Kenji returned the baring of his fangs and returned the growling..
perhaps not attacking for some known reason to himself?

She kept her gaze steadily away from the lake once he walked int hat direction - but afte ra few moments, she still heard the growling and baring teeth, the noises of angry territorial males. She still, though, did not here a splash or flailing limbs or gasps of breath. What was he doing?
Her eyes, daringly, swivelled back to the lake - half expecting to see the little fox's head struggling to keep afloat as a dastardly kelpie drug him down. Instead, Kenji was just trying to scare him off - but why? She wanted him to go ahead and get on with it, get it over with, so she could speak with him again.
But he wasn't. Slowly, with a sigh, she steered towards the lake, hissing at the fox for a moment - honestly, being mean to creatures didn't bother her. Killing them though.. well, what a different story. Then, she stopped next to Kenji, quirking a brow, "why aren't you.. y'know?" She asked of him quietly, her voice soft, wondering. Not like she was trying to egg him on, just, wondering what was keeping him from his natural instinct.

Kenji looked at Aino and smirked. "It's female." was all he replied, before jerking his head in the direction of the forest, as if expecting Aino to understand his logic, before starting once again to growl at the vixen, and taking a few steps towards her.
She wouldn't budge, though.
Kenji would just have to outstubborn the female, then.

A brow quirked at what he said, sitting down slowly with a little laugh, " and what does being female mean, hmm?" She flickered her tail, eyes on him, cold, accusing - but amused, somewhere deep down.
She laughed, turning tail on him as she stood once again, heading towards the woods. Surely you're not accusing females of being stubborn," she murmured, glancing back at him, moving so elegantly - something taught to her through habit by her older sister.
