Xeg listened as Kaneharo came in and took over teaching Gear the basic knowledge of Magic and How it works. His and Kaneharo's branches of magic, after hearing it, seemed very similar, although the different elements they were comprised of he heard were different.

"Well... There he Goes. I'm getting a mixed feeling about why he was asking so many Questions." Xeg said, turning to Kaneharo. "I am unsure of whether he truly wished to learn Magic, or if he wished to Gain knowledge he could use over mages in combat." Xeg hoped it was the former.

"By the way, very nice place you have built here, Kane. I haven't been in a proper laboratory sin- in years..." Xeg said. He was about to let slip another Allusion about Selfarion, which would really not be a smart thing to do. He had already thrown a couple around today. There was a reason no one knew his origins story yet. (((RAWR! RP Mission Plot Foreshadowing!)))

"Gear is like a sponge... He wants to absorb knowledge as if it were water, and then some... He must have some ulterior motive..." He said thoughtfully, staring at the ground.

Taking some chalk he picked it up and absentmindedly drew on the table in front of him. A form took shape; two circles, one inside of the other, with strange runes separating them. "So your uncle is coming, that's interesting. Well, If you need any help, just let me know. I know I'm not as strong as you, but we're truthfully most likely the two strongest mages here... Hm... Mayhaps this uncle could teach me a little bit..."

"Training magic? Dear god no! I can barely imagine how that might have gone. I was thinking more of Magical Theory and Lore than actual Training." And as he thought about it, the more he realized it wouldn't work anyway.

"Ah. It couldn't happen anyway. Although we both Practice Magic, It is different magic. Although the results may be the same, we use different formulas and Theories to get that answer. Much Like Mathematics." Looking down, Xeg saw that he had finished his Drawing, the Circles inside of Each-other, with Runes in between them, and a set of steps leading up to the circle. When finished, It looked fully Like a Strange Archway on a raised dais.

Xeg looked around for the noise, and turned back towards Kaneharo with one eye upraised. "Ominous." He merely said.

"So, Ah, Mr Kaneharo's Uncle, would you care to present yourself? My Name is Xeg."

Xeg shook Drade's hand, giving a slight bow in respect to one who is his superior. He listened to the small conversation that took place between Uncle and nephew. The only phrase he didn't understand was 'the Emerald Grace.' a Magic amplification crystal of some kind?

Drade sighed. "You have... A student?"

"Err...." Kaneharo mulled it over in his head for a moment, or what seemed a moment as he cast a speed spell on himself, which could have been days. "Yes, I'm accecpting students."

"There may be hope for you after all." He turns to Xeg. "You seem confused. May I ask why?"

"It's quite simple really," Drade said, while motioning Kane off. "At least do something right, Kane, and get some more books in here!" He turned back to Xeg. "The Emerald Grace, is one of thirteen Trancendant Stones. Each stone not only controls an element, but an aspect of law and or time. Every sentient planet has their own set of stones, based on the magics of their planet. These stones choose a person for them to channel their energy, and keep the magical balance in check. The Emerald Grace controls Magical Law, but by no means is the strongest. For example, My Bronze Beginning controls things concerning the beginning of the time of things, such as the creation of a machine, or the beginning of time itself. Kaneharo has the Amethyst Glory, which controls Physical Law. I'd be happy to explain more to you, but my nephew isn't doing something right again." He walks over to Kaneharo. "Those books are supposed to be in Alphabetical order!"
