Eric didn't enjoy seeing people gang up around the front gate. They had found a good secure area and been able to upgrade it a bit. He waved fourth a megaphone and opened up his visor. He guessed some where just interested in seeing new people but some had masks and crude weaponry. He looked at the people and at the four guys form his squad that was there with him, more then enough! He pressed down the button and begun to speak. "This is the US Police Department Bull squad! We're setting up a HQ in this building. Any criminal act will be punished accordingly our orders. At the moment there will be no prisoners taken and we're are allowed to carry live ammunition. Your gathering here is illegal and this will be your only warning. Go home and stay home and you'll see infrastructure soon. Stay and you'll be the first to feel the government!"

Eric was glad to see that many left the area. There where still those that respected the police and the law. Yet that feeling vanished the soon he saw that a bunch didn't follow his command. They would pay dearly. Well none of these seemed to be of importance cause none had any fire arms. Well to tell the truth, the drive had been long and Eric wanted to get some irritation out of his system. He turned to his guys and gave the command to move out. The six men started to walk straight towards the group of guys that where left. They outnumbered the police easily in numbers but the cops outnumbered the crowd in everything else. They stormed the cops and became more spread out. That was their first mistake.

He heard some comments over the radio from the other bull members about betting on who would smash the most heads. They where not a police group, they where military with a badge. The first man reached Eric and with skill, strength and speed the man faced the receiving end of Eric's nightstick. The 6 officers stopped in their tracks and begun to beat the crowd down. Eric cracked up a head with his shield, leaving a crimson red splash upon it. The right hand punished another criminal with the night stick. Soon the crowd fled, some grabbing wounded to escape with. Eric looked at his boys and nodded as they all picked out their side arms. They didn't have room or time for prisoners or wounded. Those that where able to leave they allowed to leave. This was just a show of power and might. Yet those that had broken legs, bleeding skulls. Well as he said this was just to show the world what business. There was 11 people still alive and since no one seemed to come for them the next action was rapid. 11 shots was quickly fired from the handguns, 5 from Eric's. Then he ordered two guys to fix the most needed for their quest. An old steel dumpster soon was set on fire and two officer saw to it that the bodies burned away. Eric walked inside and sat down on a chair. Well video was up and running. He looked at all the people here. "Don't worry Bulls! They are easier to his then potato bags."

Jane heard the gun shots over the radio and wished she'd of been there but a post was a post and you didn't leave it until your relieved. "Squad 2 what is your visual?" Jane asked. "People have gone back to their homes Sgt. it's clear," replied one of her squad. Jane took a deep breath maybe she would be able to put the safety back on her XD. As she stood there all she could think about was the mission and the full pack of smokes in her pocket. 'Oh why did she quit before going on this mission,' she thought. Her zippo lighter however was in her vest you never knew when a flame would come in handy; so she flipped the lid a couple times and she felt better knowing she wasn't trapped in the dark.

Eric walked to Jane and patted her back. There was a smile on his lips, well it was actually more of a grin and it was clear what it came from. He looked around and saw gear standing along the walls. People were playing cards, working out and all other things they done when they weren't able to do anything. Eric dropped his helmet and shield to the ground and looked at Sgt Steel. "You'll get your chance and it won't be long until it's your turn to defend this area. We will guard two days and then go out on active hunting for two days. Then reinforcement will come up in normal riot gear. This will be LAPDs new HQ. Do wish for calm days for until LA is back in our hands we won't rest a single day. Also I suggest you pick up smoking again. You'll go nuts in a few days. You can always stop when we're done!"

With that done Eric went up to the roof and looked around. There where still these darn cars driving around. The worst part was that they shared traits with each others. Eric guessed that this was the Machinery or whatever they called themselves. That would explain the streets and that gave Eric an idea of what these first battles would be like. Not on the streets but with the vans. Then they would have to divide into 5 man teams and storm building after building. This would probably be the hardest. He would rather have met those who where more of a huge mob then this gang. Well he was lucky to have avoided the crazy gang. They had no real Intel on that gang but the stories spoke of hockey masks and home made bombs.

Jane took off her helmet and set down her shield. She started doing pushups, situps, bicycles, any excersize she culd think of to keep her mind focused. After she was done she put a piece of gum in her mouth and sat there watching .

Eric opened a new pack of cigarettes. The entire Bull squad knew not to smoke around Jane. That would drive her insane, so Eric would stay on the roof for some time to get rid some of the smell. He leaned towards the wall and kept his head low. After all he wasn't in his armour at the moment and then it would be bad if a sniper would get to him. He doubted there be any sniper attacks yet, since he doubted any leader took their power truly serious just yet. When they could hold the front line and have other cops swarming in to fulfill the dreams of the people. That's when the gangs would fear the Bulls. When the Bulls where able to roam free and not just had to stay put.

Jane tried to relax and just listen to the surroundings but nothing was familiar to her anymore. She wished things hadn't gotten this bad; that police would not be able to control the situation that they would have to evacuate the city. She put her helmet back on and waited for orders.
