As the monster lurched forward with some sort of drippy appendage, Sailor Iris dodged. Unfortunately, the dodge was enough to set her off balance (damn those high heels) and cause her to fall towards the beasty. In an attempt to get a hit in at least, she balled up her fist and punched it as best as a falling girl could into the creature.
Literally, into the creature. Her punch didn't do a thing other than sink into the monster's oily body.
"Oh god... I deal with this type of crap all the time, and I even find this gross!" Pulling out her hand from the monster's body with a sickening slurping sound, she could hear that loud-mouth cat barking out yet another order. Sailor Iris couldn't help but wonder if the cat was truly a dog in disguise. She definitely acted enough like a b*tch to pull it off.
"Whatever..." she grunted out as she balled her fist up yet again. Instead of punching the drippy being again, light suddenly began to glow from her fist.
"Iris Rainbow Ribbon!" she shouted out as all of a sudden a rainbow suddenly fluttered away from her fist. This was maybe the second time she had used this attack, and she still couldn't help but feel she got jipped in the powers department. Now that she had this rainbow out, she began to twirl her wrist as if she was going to lasso a cow.
"Hopefully this doesn't miss..." she grunted out as she cast out her rainbow ribbon towards the Youma.

 It didn't miss. It wrapped around the gooey youma and -- well -- sank in, effectively garrotting the monster in two pieces. It fell in two separate halves, still rattling and hissing, the top abdomen half baring its teeth at both girls as it flailed around on the pavement. Astraea leapt out gracefully next to Sailor Bellatrix, and wrinkled her delicate little nose. A beam of light shot out from the star of her forehead, and finished off what Iris had begun: the youma shrilled, but started to shrivel up and dry until it was a horrible dried-up puddle on the sidewalk. A crumbling, fist-sized piece of coal -- and what looked like a MASSIVE amount of dried vomit -- was all that was left. "This is too easy," said Astraea, mostly to herself. "He's testing me."

Sailor Bellatrix was somewhat disappointed that she hadn't had the chance to deliver an attack, but then again, she really didn't..know what her attack was! And for that matter, what was she!?
First random goo monsters from the sewers, then talking cats and transforming Meadowview girls,...and now her too? Oh~ she was going to have such a headache...
More calm than she felt inside, Sailor Bellatrix walked over to Astrea and looked down at the talking cat. "He who?" Might aswell start there.

Initially, Sailor Iris whistled, as if she was impressed with her own work. Then she grinned as she hobbled her way back to where that annoying cat and the Crystal girl had been. Of course, she was familiar with this scene already, seeing another Sailor Scout in the place of a student. Such had only just happened to herself not too long ago.
She didn't quite catch what Astraea or the new Sailor had mentioned about a "he," but as she approached, she offered her left hand for a handshake, since her right one was all covered in nasty oil.
"So... Sailor Iris! Who might you be again?" She grinned a bit, as if completely re-meeting this girl for the first time.
For a moment, she turned towards the feline and just asked "So, cat... do you just stalk scouts for fun?" Perhaps it was more meant in teasing, or perhaps she was serious, but Sailor Iris' tone was a bit of a puzzle at the moment.

"Only when I think they're in much too deep," snapped Astraea. "Do you even practice that attack of yours? No, of course you don't. At least it's defeated."
She sat back on her haunches, taking both senshi in. "I don't have a lot of time," she said. "I can't stay in one place for long. Sailor Iris, it's your responsibility to explain to Sailor Bellatrix her place in this world -- and I hope you emphasise duty, because all the other scouts right now are riding the failboat."
She looked at Sailor Bellatrix. "I don't have time to explain," she said. "So I won't. My one piece of advice to you both is: beware the Negaverse."
The pretty grey-furred cat made to turn around, but added: "And don't trust other cats, for Serenity's sake!" before she disappeared into the night.

"Umm," She began, shaking Iris' hand, "Bellatrix."
What had she gotten herself in to? Duty!? AS if she had time to add anything else to her schedule! Inevitably, she'd have to make do though. After all, she....what was she? When she heard the cat order Sailor Iris to inform her, Bellatrix was somewhat doubtful that she'd ever gain a satisfying answer.
"The Negaverse?" More and more questions! She was so glad this wasn't a quiz, or she'd be failing horribly!

Sailor Iris watched the cat as she left and couldn't help but chuckle.
"Heh! That Astraea is always like that! Glad she ain't my pet, or I'd probably go crazy!"
Even though it was her left hand being shaken, Iris made certain her grip was firm and friendly. "Ah, Bellatrix. That's a bit of a mouthful! Good t'meetcha!" When she let go of the handshake, she already had one question there waiting for her.
"Negaverse, eh? Let's see here. From what I understood, Negaverse is like, the ultimate evil or some crap like that. Negaverse is what made..." Sailor Iris paused and glanced to the dried up puke that used to be a monster.
"Negaverse is what made that."
She then reversed her transformation and pointed in the direction of Crystal Academy. "I'm sure ya got some sort of curfew! Let's walk and talk, kiddo!" This girl probably had a lot of questions, and Ellie was definitely one who'd try to answer them as best as possible.

Bellatrix watched as Iris became Ellie once again, and for a moment she wondered just how she was to do that too, but she figured it out, somehow.
"The ultimate evil, hmn?" Bell had always though of good and evil as being quite subjective. She remembered playing a role of a villain once, so she supposed she could see both ways, somewhat. So why had she been put on this path?
"So it's not a prank, or terrorism... There really are sailor-suited people running around the city..." not to mention stinky monsters, and talking cats. Wait...
"Why can't we trust other cats?"
After saying it, the question seemed kind of weird. Seriously, talking cats were one in a bazillion, right?

"Nope and nope," she answered to the notion of pranks and terrorism. "And dunno... probably means she knows something that we don't yet." Shrugging her shoulders she continued to walk with this girl. Maybe she was pampered and spoiled, but now Ellie had no excuse to dislike her. They both had something in common now, so she better start liking her, even if it was only a bit more.
And so the two girls continued to walk and talk. Ellie was not necessarily a wealthy supply of information, but she'd attempt to answer the girl's questions as best as possible.
Whoever had decided this fate upon the two girls must have been laughing hard right now.
