Mmm, I don't think Gaia is necessarily "greedy." They have to pay their workers somehow. Buying GC is optional anyways. I know people who are worth (upper) millions who've never touched GC.

  I usually just buy the item, not the RIG. But when they first came out I bought a few....*looks on TEKTEK to refresh my memory* Okay TEKTEK was not a help, so I assume the few times I tried my hand and RIGs I got crappy junk items. Like another green egg EI. xd

Plus, the items I like are usually more expensive than the RIG, so I take the cheap way out...then end up losing more gold 8D

I'll admit.. I usually buy the 9 packs with cash and sell them on the marketplace, then buy the RIG items I like later.
There's a limit to how much you can make that way, but I don't like to play with chance.
Because chance always beats me. gonk
