((And I finaly get around to posting... Sorry about the delay.
If someone wants to join, go ahead but if you want to RP you need to post so that others have something to respond to. Also keep in mind that there is a highly trained Samurai leading these few dozen soldiers, no matter how skilled you are, a straight out fight would be suicidal right now. I really like this setting and hope that more people will join.))
"Well how about this," she picked the rolled carpet up and sheathed her Katana in its depths, "Let's head into town and see what we can find out, I personally have a bone to pick with that guy..." She pointed to the fancy looking Samurai who was now pestering some poor woman. "That and I'm hungry, I eat like a horse after a good fight." Sasuke's stomach growled as she tucked the roll under an arm and dusted herself off before heading towards the village again. Looking over her shoulder she said, "Come on, I haven't got all day you know!" 'I need to find someone who will buy swords without any questions asked...' This was thought as she glanced down at the roll under her arm, it weighed too much now.

(( I too must apologize for my absence. 3nodding ))
"R... Right!" Selene just stood there for the moment sucking in everything about the strange woman. She was strong, smart, and hard to take down by anyone is seemed. She was exactly what Selene wanted to be, what she strived to be her whole life! She couldn't just stand there... She made a little nod to the woman with a determined face and fisted hands as hopped herself the woman's way. As Selene hopped over, she looked down at what she the woman had to carry. Whatever it was, was wrapped up tightly in a towel and help close by. It must be something important.. or valuable! She thought to herself, along with all the other ideas it could possibly be. "Do you need help carrying that... stuff?" She asked in soft curiosity.

((*Looks at Ducky* RP damnit! Joking, take your time!))
Sasuke looked at the other girl oddly, "No, but if you can find me a good blacksmith, I'll make it worth your while..." She was trying to guess what her reasons were for being so kind in offering to carry either her small bag of clothes which was across her back or her rolled carpet as that was all she carried. 'Ah, my carpet, I carry no money but these swords are worth a fortune. So, she fancies herself a thief does she? We'll have to see about that...' The black haired girl continued towards town and began to whistle a nice little marching song, which she quickly adjusted her own pace to.

((I just back in school yesterday, which is oddly enought a relief. It means I get to spend less time with my family and more time not with them. I didn't really get to post much over break because my break, and the time leading up to it, were boarder-line hell. I will be posting soon.))

Selene picked up her pace, trying her best to keep up with Sasuke. "I heard that there's a fine blacksmith in the town of Iksay just south of here. Although you'd have to cross a river to get to it... and there are no ferry boats." She looked around as they walked down to the small town below. She finally spotted that fancy g lookin Samurai Sasuke was talking about. "You don't plan to fight him, do you? He looks a bit though..."

((Whoops! I disapeared... ninja Here you go, sorry about that. ))
Sasuke cursed herself quietly stopping her tune, "I was just in that town, and they ran me out. I don't think that's much of an option right now..." She sounded slightly distressed by this but kept her pace. Knowing which 'him' the other referred to, she chuckled without looking, "Not straight out..." She let the sentence hang mysteriously and then resumed her little ditty before suddenly stopping in her tracks, "We don't even know each other." She looked perplexedly at the other for a moment before giving a polite traditional bow and greeting followed by, "You may call me Sasuke Tonada." Not her actual surname, but the other would never know that since Sasuke wasn't a person with any public renown without mentioning her disgraced father, which was her almost fatal mistake back in Iksay.

Over on the other side of town, Marak was walking the main dirt street headding to the market. His hand was heavily bandaged, and some blood had soaked threw.

((Hmm, can't do much 'til she posts... I'll Rp some NPCs for now. 3nodding ))
A sharp cry issued from an alley near the now deserted market place, it was a quickly muffled woman's voice. None of the soldiers in the area even took notice, they were all too busy with their own pillaging, and the Samurai who commanded them was occupied with ordering some elderly around.

Marak saw what was going on in the market. "Hey! You can't do that!" Marak walked over to what he took to be the leader. "Make them stop! You cannot do this to your own people!"

After tossing an old man aside, the impressive looking Samurai turned to this upstart, slowly taking the other's appearance in. Almost sneering, he said slowly, "Who are you to tell me, an Honorable Samurai, what I can and can not do?" A caloused hand rested easily on the pommel of his ornately decorated katana. Aside from the newly aquired 'robe of office', he was dressed in full battle regalia typical of a noble warrior of his standing.

"Honorable samurai? You are no more honorable than a common thug. I see that I made an error in believing you would even atempt to do your job." Marak spat at his feet. "Pig." (( mrgreen ))

((*Points to the OOC in her post at the top of this page*))
The man didn't even look down as the phlegm sailed towards his feet, impacting his polished boot wetly. Staring this ruffian in the eye, he said in a deadpan tone, "Lick it off, or I'll have that tongue of yours." His elegant moustache bristled with fury that this dog would dare insult his Honor thus while his hand gripped the sword tightly.

Marak was suddenly aware of the all the men with their hands on their katanas. "Ah... I seem to have made a mistake." Marak backed up a few steps, then turned and ran.
