[ I've gotta go to sleep... but I'll reply and what not tomorrow. Sorry. -3- ]

Justice largely ignored Skutz, and Olela, in her head, was content to let it stay so. Question was more interesting, anyway.
"You'd be fighting the forces of evil, mostly. I'm hoping that no other joins this war, especially on their side, but it may not be helped. In either case, we need as many recruits as we can get." Justice lifted her head a bit, watching Question. "So? Any more questions?"

"Forces of evil, eh? Are they an official group, or do you deem people as belonging to them?" Question was disappointed to hear such a generic answer. 'And I thought declining would be hard.'

Justice took a deep breath, swallowing her irritation. "They are a group - or they will be in the near future," she said bluntly, planting her sword in the dirt in front of her. "Someone has been manipulating things behind the scenes for quite some time, and we've fallen into a trap. We are digging out way out of that trap right now, so that we can then defeat this puppeteer. He or she is presumed to be incredibly dangerous, our for only themselves, and intending the destruction of civilization as we know it."

"Civilization as we know it? How terribly cliche," Olela murmured, inside Justice's head. "I'd like to think I'm a tad more creative than that."

'Ah, now that's an answer.' "Oh, you didn't mention a shadowy manipulator. Well if that's the case then you can sign me up." After his past experience with a certain tentacled alien that was secretly pulling strings, causing wars all across the Earth, Question had a loathing towards shadowy manipulators.

"Oh, good," Justice said, unable to hide her sense of triumph. "If that's all I need to, I don't think finding recruits will be as difficult as the Divine made it sound. Now, would you mind submitting to a painless test of your loyalty and skill?"

"How dry."
"Oh, she can't do any better than that, the poor dear."
"... You are far too good at insulting her, Suzy."

Question shrugged. "Sure, why not? I got nothing to hide." Well, nothing he had memory of. He hoped that the memories that no longer exist wouldn't affect the score.

[ Do you have any sort of idea what the loyalty and what not could be? I don't know anyone well enough to just decide, sorry. ^^; Or you could just describe yourself, like Skutz did. ]

[Question usually isn't one to diverge from his objectives, and puts the safety of Earth above all other priorities. He feels haunted by the ghosts of his past, even if he can't remember it. There have been two incidents where he was shoved into an apocalyptic future, where he is forced to survive until he can find a way to escape back to the present. Because he landed in the point of time after the apocalypse where everyone is dead and the Earth is a desolate wasteland, he feels guilty, thinking that if he had remained in the present he could have stopped the calamities from occurring. When he does return in both instances, he does end up stopping the apocalypses from taking place.]

[In the way of skills, Question isn't the best warrior there is. However, he is quite adaptable and can find ways to win even in some of the most dire situations.]

The light creature materialized, it's fingers tapping together patiently. "You require assistance again?"
"Scan the doctor, if you would," Justice said, eyes hooded.
"Loyalty probability calculated at 91% estimate; 82% current. Recommended rank: First Lieutenant. Possibility of promotion: low. Is further service requited?"
Justice waved the creature away, turning back to the doctor as it dissipated. "Is this satisfactory?"

"That man would be far more useful to our side," Olela remarked, hands threaded together. "Too bad he's 'good'.. He wouldn't go for it."

"Yeah, I guess. I'm gonna go check out some place in this city that I've been curious about." Question made a simple hand gesture for a goodbye, and walked down the street. 'First Lieutenant, huh? Not too shabby.'
