[No worries. I'm debating waiting on dragonhealer to see if she notices my character, or move on. Moving on would involve more fillers, though.]

Beck had been crouching behind an air conditioning unit when one of the officers walked right past her. The man spotted her out of the corner of his eyes and took a shot at her. Beck had moved, dodging out of the line of fire and towards the edge of the building. The cop kept shooting and one of the bullets nicked her upper thigh, as her foot left the solid edge of the cement. She made it to the next building over curling up into a ball as she landed to roll a few feet. The young woman knew that the officer was no where near out of ammo like the other cop so as soon as she was up she garbed the man to her left's arm and ran with him behind the billboard, keeping them out of sight. The kid was the one who had gotten the cop's attention to begin with and he seemed quite smug having gotten away unscathed. "What the hell. don't tease them you a**." She whispered not even looking up at the man, she was looking down at her leg and wondering how long it would be before it stopped bleeding.

((If I get a few spelling/grammar errors I blame my phone))
Roman arrived atop of the main judicial law offices, noting that he made it a few minutes earlier than expected. Gunshots were still frequent in the area but Roman had to stay in sight so another traceur could spot him. "I'm at the spot, no one in sight" Roman said nervously, checking behind him every few seconds, "directions?". He looked over the side of the building and noticed there were far too many cops around. Getting impatient, Roman started to question his current job, am I compromised?
"Stay on location, we'll notify you with further instructions" buzzed Roman's radio, "maintain radio silence till further notice". "Roger."

[Don't tell me you're TEXTING that post o.o] ----- Cam saw the cop go down, and before he could react with even so much as a "the hell?", a woman had appeared where he'd been standing. Well, that was unexpected, he said to himself, staring at the woman for a moment. He would have made eye contact, but there was a problem: she was looking at her leg. Not exactly easy to do in a situation like that. She looked as though she'd been hit by the cop. He wanted to jump over and give her a hand, but that was difficult, as this roof was lower than the other one, and there was no way over the gap. "Hey." he said casually to the woman, waving at her. He had time.

((Lol, yeah I am, I can type fast on my phone))
Roman noticed two traceurs slowly becoming surrounded by the CPF, he had to go warn them but he also had a job to do. "Hurry up! The area is hot!" Roman urgently yelled into his radio, "this better not be a set up." Roman counted the buzz in the area, about two or three per building. They looked active and ready to shoot to kill -- someone had stirred up the beehive.
"Chk-- we told you to remain silent" "Who is my drop?"
The radio remained silent, and quiet noises could be heard in the background, "there is no drop, the messenger is dead -- the CPF are on to us, its a trap." "Now wasn't that obvious" Roman replied sarcastically, "where do I evacuate the package to?" "Hold on to the package till further notice, do NOT let the CPF get ahold of it." "Roger, evacuating"
Roman jumped down onto the angular glass of the building, sliding down on to a lone CPF officer. Searching the body, he got a hold of some smoke grenades. "Its not going to be beautiful, but it'll work, I guess".

[Wow...simply wow o.o] ---- Cam turned to look for the source of the sound. More of them? Frigging great. "Thanks!" he shouted back, taking off across the roof. A telephone line stretched between two buildings. Ken climbed onto a crate and reached out, grabbing the wire. He had just a second before a couple hundred volts surged into him to get his feet onto it. Success. He slid down, not getting a single shock. As soon as he reached the next roof he dropped down the short height onto an AC unit, looking back. There was a few police on the buildings, and he could make out the forms of the two other traceurs standing there.

Roman noticed another traceur standing across from him. "Get out of the area, this place is a trap!" Roman shouted, pulling a pin from one of the smoke grenades he stole from the officer. Roman threw the grenade down at the two CPF officers trying to surprise the third traceur. A bullet whizzed by Roman's head causing him to dive down on the floor below. There were way too many CPF in the area, "you'd best run into the aqueducts before the choppers come!" Roman yelled to the male traceur, throwing an unused smoke grenade over as well. Roman jumped onto a nearby drainage pipe and slid down a level, rolling over to a ventilation fan to take cover from the CPF on the level. He clutched his bag, to make sure he didn't lose it and jumped over a chainlink fence behind him -- bullets rang hard and echoed, alerting more CPF. He was trapped, one smoke grenade left and twenty blues in front of him. "Hand over the package, NOW!" shouted an officer.

Cam watched him disappear. Aqueducts, right. He went in that direction before he heard the cries of the officers. Realizing what happened, he ran up to the edge just as two officers came out onto the roof. Both had pistols drawn as he ran between them. They had no idea what he was planning, and had been surprised. He grabbed both their pistols as he passed, yanking them from their grasp. Before they could ready their batons, he quickly dispatched both of them with some rapid kicks. He pocketed one pistol and slid down the pipe to land next to Roman. "You look like you need a hand." he said, lifting a pistol at the officers and firing. He took down four, the other three shots missing miserably. Not having bothered to take extra magazines, he decided to 'New York Reload', tossing the first pistol aside and drawing the second.

"Thanks a bunch" replied Roman, fastening the bag back onto his shoulder. He pulled the pin of his last grenade and tossed in front of him, jumped down to a platform now veiled in smoke. "Chk-- Dispatch in 60 seconds, get out quickly" a voice came out of Roman's radio. It wasn't a familiar voice he'd heard before, but it was probably in Roman's best interest that he followed her voice. "Let's get out of here then" Roman motioned over to Cam, jumping down further. Roman still questioned his job, he'd almost fallen into a CPF trap, and not to mention they were in fact looking for him. Also, the woman on the radio knew CPF movements, just what was he carrying?

Cam nodded, looking at the second pistol. Deciding it best, he stuck it in his waistband and flicked on the safety, following Roman down to the next level. From here, he looked around, not getting a similar message than Roman. "Do you happen to be going to the financial district?" he asked as they moved along. "I kind of have a package to deliver." he added, motioning to a yellow tube tied securely to his belt at his back.

"Honestly, I just need to get out of here" replied Roman, "anywhere I can hide and keep heat off." He looked back at Cam, while sliding down an emergency ladder, "I had to deal with a botched job just then, sorry about the buzz" Roman looked at his old watch, "mind if I tag along for a bit? I think I might need the company, safer in numbers." Roman took a deep breath and made a large lunge on to a smaller building, rolling as he landed.

Cam nodded. "Yeah, just keep up." he said, following Roman across the gap. But he jumped a little too early and nearly missed the edge. "Oh, this is going to hurt." he said as he grabbed the edge and slammed into the side of the building. "Oh, ow." he moaned, climbing up next to Roman. He was fine, just a little sore.

((So, what happened to the other Rpers))
"Ah, careful there" Roman, "guess we all have our off days." Roman ran ahead and swung underneath a set of protruding lights in front of an advertisement -- landing on a railing. "Whoop" Roman steadied himself on the railing, "I think this is a good way to the financial district." Roman looked back towards Cam, they seemed to have gotten far enough from the CPF, "By the way, I never introduced myself, the name is: Ray Manners, but you can call me Roman." Taking a quick turn, Roman steadied himself on top of the railing and did another lunge on an auxillary ladder, sliding for a few feet before finally climbing to the top.

[I dunno.] ----- Cam followed close behind, chuckling. "Yeah, so I've been told." he said, matching the man's line almost perfectly. "My name's Cameron Davids...also known as Rat. Don't ask. If you do, ask God." he said, referencing the nickname he gave his contact, who seemed to know all. He was rather well known by most runners. He followed Roman, waiting as the man climbed the ladder. He learned that it was safe to wait till someone as at the top before trying a jump: if they slipped, they would take you out too if you were behind them.

"So, where's your drop?" Roman turned around, watching Rat climb up the ladder, "we should watch out for CPF, they've been swarming this district like bees for the past few days." Suddenly, the maintenance door opened, and two CPF officers stood on top of the building. "Speak of the devil... Your call, take 'em down, or avoid them." "You think they'll come?" asked the officer. "Yeah, dispatch said they were headed in this direction." "They won't know what hit them." "Clear out, make sure you check every nook and cranny; these rats love to hide."
"Looks like they're looking for us" whispered Roman.
