((Just a note Mew, even if you've discussed starting an RP with someone you shouldn't act like their lolita has done something, like coming into the store for instance, without the other person making the first move; because that could be considered godmodding, which is generally frowned upon.
Hope that makes sense.))

Arashi happened upon the mysterious set of doors. She looked at it with mild interest, since she had never seen it before. Thinking better of intruding, she knocked, only to see that it was already open. Smiling to herself, she wandered in.
To say she was surprised by the vastness of the place would be an understatement. She looked around, her eyes trying to take everything in at once, unsuccessfully.
After briefly wondering if she had needed to bring a trail of breadcrumbs, she went even further into the "building". The fact that there was a large, cozy home and cafe was alluring, despite how strange it seemed there was a wooded area.
Happening upon the cafe, she smiled as she looked around, taking a seat.

Mara looked up, and saw the new customer. She put down the guitar.
"Hello! Welcome to Codex Obscura, your number one source for weird......stuff. How may I help you?"

Arashi looked to the woman, slightly gasping at her beautiful appearance, and also taking comfort in seeing her wings and tail. Her own slightly fluttering wings moved, and she gave the gothic woman a smile.
"Hello. Actually, I just came in and was wondering what sort of place this is," she spoke, looking around before her gaze fell on the woman once more.

Mara took notice at the new girl's wings and tail as well. "Nice to know I'm not the only freak!"
"Come to think of it, I'm not really sure what sort of place this is. It certainly appears to be a cathedral, but I've never reached the other sides, or the ceiling. It's at least several hundred miles wide, but it's most probably much more. I don't even want to estimate how long or how high it is. Believe me, I tried. My best guess is that this is some sort of pocket universe. Maybe storage for somebody, seeing as there so much random stuff. I don't even know why I'm here, my memory is not so good, and time acts differently here." Mara sighed and smiled.

Arashi stared, her eyes glossing over as her imagination wandered. "Wow, that sounds really intriguing... Almost a shame you can't remember much, but from my experience, maybe it's for the better." She looked at Mara again, offering a smile. "So, what is your name?"

"Mara, it's nice to meet you. Actually, I just sort of wandered in uninvited. I was wondering, besides the obvious..." Arashi mumbled, looking to the coffee machine. "Drinks, and such, do you offer any services or devices or such? I'm thinking I might want some reading material," she rambled as she stared to the blue eyed woman.

Mara brightened up. "Actually, we do have a library, it's that building right over there. It's got an odd assortment of book and other kinds of things. Please do not mind the machinery. I use it as storage for the various machines I find as well." She led Arashi to the library.

"Oh, no problem," Arashi said, happily following the woman. It was strange, and also comforting to see the woman's wings and tail. Her own fluttered slightly as they neared the library, something she was surprised to find. This place has so many other things, why not a library? she thought to herself.

Mara twirled around with a flourish.
"Welcome to the Codex Obscura Library! Here you can find books on just about every subject known to man, woman and whatever else there is. We have fiction, nonfiction, and fictional nonfiction. We have books on auto repair, the Crimean War, the zoning code of Germany in 1858, necromancy, cartomancy, geomancy, cybermancy, technomancy, pyromancy, hydromancy, aethermancy, psychomancy, any kind of -mancy you can think of! We have novels of all kinds, from every known author of every decade. We have children's books, self-help books, comic books, manga, magazines, and ancient tomes made out of human skin. We've got.....well, pretty much everything. Ok, done with my spiel." She finished with a smile.

Arashi watched the woman talk, delighted and intrigued by the vast amount of genres the library catered. Giggling softly, she gave Mara a firm nod. "Well, you've got Arashi's seal of approval," she spoke, a thumb at her chest. It was going to take her a long time to decide what to look for, and a lifetime of browsing to find a particular book. Somehow, though, this strange place with it's enormous library seemed comforting and warm.

"I like a good mystery, something fun that can keep you guessing," Arashi spoke, turning to Mara with rather wide eyes. "I'm interested in a lot of books though, so I'm not too picky on a genre. Something mysterious, maybe dramatic," she rambled on, turning her gaze back to the room they were in.
