"My apologies, I'm afraid I share the same demeanor as your father. Anyone who treats a fine lady like Delia the way he does is going at my tails' end." He scoffed and then roused himself over closer to Memora.
"And why were you dancing around the box all alone on a night like this?"

Memora scoffed as well. She turned her eyes towards the sky and whispered "I don't like him, either."
She sighed. "I was not dancing." Memora insisted. "I was simply lonely and looking for company."

He didn't quite catch what she whispered and also looked up at the sky.
"Gracefully walking then," he grinned. "Not still lonely are you? We can find you better company if you'd like."

A laugh escaped the normally stuck-up pony and she shook her head. "No, Uncle Flurries. You are the best company I could possibly ask for."
Her gaze moved from the star-lit sky towards Wind-cast Flurries and she smiled demurely. "But if I am boring you..."

"Then it seems all is well in paradise," he said as he turned his head to look at Memora. "Right, milady?"

Furrowing her brow, Memora shook her head reflexively in reply. "I'm not quite sure I'd say that."
She let out a little sigh and peered around with her fiery eyes. She had been so distracted as they were walking that she wasn't sure where they were. She looked back at her partner for the evening and said as much, "I hope you know where we are; I certainly don't."

He raised a brow at Memora, and then looked around slowly before turning back to her.
"Well of course you wouldn't say that," he nodded to himself as he said softly. "A lady sounds much better."
He hmmm'd to himself and then closed his eyes shut tighter than they were naturally. "I do believe you're here with me, and I am here with you. It is a very pleasant place to be if I do say so myself."

"I wish you would stop that, Uncle Flurries." Memora huffed, turning her head away. "You're so charming even I may not be able to resist your grace and wit." she teased affectionately.
She turned her head the slightest bit, peeking towards him out of the corner of her eye to see his reaction.

He blinked for a moment and then huffed a breath. "At least you'll never flee from my company."

"Since when does anybody flee your company?" she questioned mostly sincerely.
Memora couldn't imagine a single soul being uncomfortable or unhappy around him.

"There was uh... oh wait no,"
"Um oh! She did... oh no she..."
"Oh but he! Oh I had to say no..."
"Oh! ... wait."
He sighed. He couldn't think of a single one!
"I'm sure there is one out there."

With a sigh Memora turned away from him again and laid carefully down on the grass, curling her hooves beneath her chest.
"See, Uncle?" she said simply.

"I don't see anything," he joked as he trotted quietly around her in a very friendly manner.
I wish you wouldn't call me that.
"You'll never be able to prove it without getting your tail in a knot."

"With those eyes of yours I would believe it." she replied softly.
"And I am not my mother, you know."

"Of course you are not your mother. What would cause you to mention such a strange idea?"
