Xellina-chan I guess this is still on topic: A manga I would NOT recomend. I started buying Kare-Kano books a little while back and it moves wayyy too slowly. Save your money and read it in the store. Re-reading it doesn't bring any deep realizations or fun observations. And it's long!

I really like Real bout High School
it';s about 16 year old Ryoko Mitsurugi, who is known as "Samurai Girl" for her skill in kendo. Her school's crazy, her enimeies are crazier. lol... it's a great manga, i reccommend!!!! it's reated T 13-up.

I highly recommend Bleach, Fruits Basket, and Death Note. Although I saw that someone already recommended Death Note. =3
Anyways Bleach is one of THEE best anime/manga ever. You can watch it on youtube.com and as for Fruits Basket... I know where you can get the scanlations but I don't think I can put it up here. But I think you can watch it on youtube.com... I'm not sure though. If anyone wants the summaries, just PM me. ^^

M.I.S.S.Y Anyone know if Legal Drug or The Dreaming is any good? I dunno... I've heard of Legal Drug but I've never read it. Although I've read the preview for The Dreaming. But it's not enough to tell if it's good or not... I liked it so far...though...

If anything, I think I would have to recommend Angel Sanctuary to anyone in this thread who's a fan of intriguqe/murder/sci-fi/etc. with a bit of romance. It isn't just a weepy shojo-- in fact, I'm surprised that it is listed as shojo. I'm sure a lot of people have read it, but if you haven't and you're in the mood for something interesting and different you should read it.
If you're a fan of really creepy/ grotesque/ violent stuff, and you're over 17, Arm of Kannon is good. You have to be tolerant of some pretty uniquely-styled art. It also contains nudity and sexual imagery; the story is really good.

But it's not enough to tell if it's good or not... I liked it so far...though... I actually read Legal Drug-- it has a lot of uncomfortable, teen situations that make me giggle with nervousness and embarrassment. It leans toward yaoi, but it doesn't include any nudity and doesn't even come close to the level of, oh say, Eerie Queerie. It's by CLAMP, but it's different than their normal stuff. I like it, anyway.

Hana Kimi (For You in Full Blossom) is an adorable shojo, with you guessed it, a girl dressed up like a boy so she can get into an all boys school to meet her idol. Except this isnt the same story with the usual plot lines. She did not expect to fall in love, and she doesn't know that he actually knows she is a girl and is trying to help her not get caught. Such a sweet story, and the gay doctor is hilarious. whee There is nothing graphic in here, but a small gay theme that really doesn't pertain to the main characters. The story is tasteful.

if anyone here is a fan of FullMetal Alchemist, you should read D.Gray-Man! It's a story about an exorcist, Allen walker, who turned his father into a demon. his father cursed him and the man who made Allen turn his father into an akuma (demon) becomes Allen's nemesis. it's a really good story! action, but it's emotional action, because you can clearly see how Allen feels because the manga-ka is awesome!

I would totally reccomend suki, KODOCHA SANAS STAGE ALL THE WAYY@!!!!! omg that was kick-butt, pita-ten, demon diary, guru guru pon chan, kare kano, pichi pichi pitch, mars: horse with no name, DN Angel, crescent con, Chibi Vampire, peach girl ; change of heart,...... ok those are all of the mangas i have read or started reading or am reading.... ok i totally reccomend them all but i really reccomend kodocha: sana's stage most of all okay? so totally read that!!! mrgreen

I would suggest Negima (older Teen), Full Moon O Sagashite and Tsubasa. they are all sooo good. xxxHolic crosses with Tsubasa.
