Nokirea heard speaking in the distance, up a tree. She looked up there, but purposely glanced past the voices. There were two vampires, in a tree so she said "Hey, I hear a rabbit over there" and walked in the other direction. She walked until she was out of sight and transformed into a sparrow, flew to the branch above the vampires, and transformed back, saying "Strange sight right?" to the vampires.

Xyla nodded. "Humans can be so pathetic."
Quiana glared at her sister.
"Don't give me that look Quiana. You so agree with me."
Quiana shook her head and looked back at the human.

"So, why are you watching them anyway?" Nokirea asked, her eyes glittering with curiosity and amusement. "I'm here because they scared all the deer away" Her elven ears twitched, and she smiled.

Xyla smiled. "I'm watching them because they, and I mean humans, make me feel smarter. My sister is watching them because she has to make sure her baby sister, even though I'm only four seconds younger, doesn't get herself into trouble."
Quiana smiled. "Those four seconds still count."

Nokirea nodded "Ahhhh..." So, your names? I'm Nokrea, AkA Nightlark." She grinned a devilish grin.

Quiana sat down on the branch as she spoke. "I'm Quiana."
Xyla looked up and smiled. "Xyla. We don't use a last name so it's just Quiana and Xyla. Nice to meet you!"

"Good to meet you too." Nokirea said. Then she spotted a rabbit below the tree and quickly snagged it with her bow. She turned into a falcon, grabbed the rabbit, then pulled out the arrow and flew up into the tree to eat.

Xyla stood up and jumped to Nokirea's branch. "That's a cool little trick ya have there. All I can do is move things with my mind...Woo hoo."

Nokirea finished her rabbit, transformed back, then said. "It runs in the family, but I have another power, that only my brother and I have in the family..."

Xyla stared. "Well...what is it?"
Quiana glared at her sister again. "Don't be so rude Xyla!"
"Alright Mommy." Xyla said in a sarcastic tone.

"Do you want a demonstration?" Nokirea asked. She didn't wait for an answer. She pulled a shadow ball out of thin air, then tossed it from hand to hand for a second, then threw it at the ground. In the area where it hit, there was a hole half the size of the ball. She then dropped the rabbit bones in the hole.

Quiana shook her head. Her sister could be an idiot sometimes.

Xyla shrugged her shoulders. "It's not as great as you think. It does come in handy though when you don't want to get up."
Quiana smiled. "Because that is the most important thing."

Nokirea looked down solemnly "My powers are not as great as they seem either... Sure, they're powerful, but they come with a heavy burden."
