when people ask you if you're in band, and you just stare at them and finally say 'no, really? What was you're first hint?'
when you can actually say 'This one time, at band camp,' and actually have a story.
when you eat at the band table at lunch.
when your non-band friends plan birthday parties around your band schedule, knowing where your priorities lie.
when you carry marching shoes around with you all day in your bag.
when you change your Gaia Username to have something to do with your instrument.

Mellophone Mafia when people ask you if you're in band, and you just stare at them and finally say 'no, really? What was you're first hint?' when you can actually say 'This one time, at band camp,' and actually have a story. when you eat at the band table at lunch. when your non-band friends plan birthday parties around your band schedule, knowing where your priorities lie. when you carry marching shoes around with you all day in your bag. when you change your Gaia Username to have something to do with your instrument. Haha, i'm guilty of all of those except the band table one. We don't have a band table. We have outside the band roomXD And I don't carry my marching shoes. I wear themXD

When you put pressure on your CO to start a band, volunteering yourself as drum major/BD.
When you are the only person in the entire mass school band whose actually gone to a band camp over the summer (first 3 weeks, secound 6 weeks woot)
When you get all the music from the older band and learn it before theyve even gotten past the first few sets of bars.
When you can play along to all or most of the Beatles songs on multiple instruments.
When you own and know how how to play more than 3 instruments.
When you can play 5-8 page songs from memory.

when you mark time to hold your pee.
when you applaud in time.
when you go to band camp for fun.
when you spend more hours watching marching bands show than anime.
when your iTunes library is filled with instrumental music.
when you carry your mouthpiece or extra reed in your pocket.

When you sing your part on the band bus and everyone joins in.
When you know you wear your marching shoes for everything, even non-band event.
When you don't take fingerings and double tonguing as dirty jokes anymore.

You know your in band when...
All your friends are in band too.
Your best friend and you met at a band show.
All the other band/cross-country runners run in step with you.
When you believe your plume is alive.
You make songs to the metronome at band camp.
You go around saying "Only 3 more days till the football game."
You tell your boyfriend/girlfriend you can't see them until after the band show.
Your friday night dates consist of your significant other seeing you during 3rd quarter.

C. Random people
2.Haveing people help you take your clothes off or put them back on isn't sexually simulateing
3. you know other instraments part just as well as your own
