Cigende grinned wolfishly at the pup's attempts. "Pretty good. Maybe you'll be able to do it when you get a little bigger." Cocking her head thoughtfully, she tensed in concentration, and tried to sound like a wild dog. "Yip?" she managed alright, though her accent was off. "Yip. Yip! Yipyipyiyiieehehehe..." No good, as soon as she tried for more than one, they mixed together into a cackling trill.
Pouting, she pounced at the pup and burrowed her nose into the yellow fur, blowing air to tickle her. Then she darted away, swishing her tail as an invitation for retaliation.

Rainingsun laughed so hard that snot trailed down her snout. It was just to funny to hear the hyena's version of the wild dogs bark. The small pup fell over in a surprised ophhhh when the hyena leaped at her. Cigende's cold nose and the tickling made the wild dog laugh even harder as her limbs flailed about.
But then it stopped, Rainingsun blinked. She quickly rolled over to her side and was up on all fours. Oh it was play time still.
Rainingsun yipped happily and chased on after Cigende.
"You're in for a world of tickles now," A grin snaked on the pups maw.

Cigende loped away from the attacking pup, leading her along the treeline. "Nuh uh, you can't catch me!" she retorted. She let Rainingsun get close before the hyena turned on her paws and made herself an imovable object. As the two collided, she pantomimed a mighty blow, and fell over with an exaggerated whimper.
She wriggled on the ground, playing out her fake death, and making herself a willing target for the threatened tickling. But even as she did so, she could feel that her body had about reached its limits of tolerance. Pretty soon she'd have to find somewhere to settle in for rest, or she'd find herself falling asleep out in the open.

The puppy stopped in the middle of laughing and running after the hyena. Oh no, was she alright? The wild dog padded on over and nuzzled at the hyena.
"Y-you died in the middle of playing!" Rainingsun half screamed half couldn't believe this. She felt tears well up behind her eyes and blinked letting them cascade down her cheeks.
"Thats cheating... " The pup said softly nuzzling at the hyena one more time. There was nothing she could do for the dead hyena now but shed a few tears. "I'm sorry you died Cigende, I'm sure you had a good life."
The wild dog turned her back on the hyena and started up back towards her pack. Faint sobbing sounds could be heard as she made her way further and further away from the hyena.

Blinking in surprise, Cigende watched the sobbing pup in surprise. It had never occurred to her that her display might be taken seriously. Hauling herself back up to her feet, she caught up with the yellow dog quickly. "Hey, no, I'm okay. Look, I'm fine. I was just playing."
She nuzzled Rainingsun affectionately, trying to soothe her. "I didn't mean to upset you. That's just how my mama used to play with me. She'd pretend to be dead, so I could tackle her."
Now that she was distracted from play, her tiredness really made itself known, and she couldn't stop a wide yawn. "Mmn, it's getting early. I'm going to have to sleep now." She examined the nearby trees, and spotted one with a curve to the roots that would make a decent bed. It was on the edge of the wild dog territory, though. "You won't tell your pack that I'm here, will you? I won't hunt in the trees, I promise."

The pup sniffled and looked up at the hyena, "No I won't tell them, " She sniffled again still in shock that the hyena wasn't dead. It was such a convincing act.
But it was starting to get to light out side. The wild dog needed to get back to her den before her mother started to worry.
"Well, it was nice to talk to you, " The pup smiled, "But now I must be off." She scampered off into the thick of the trees. Maybe some other time she'd find the hyena again and the two could practice laughing.
