Again, unfortunately it took time to say stuff, and by the time Kichiro would've finished chanting, Chris would've already connected with his face...
...if it weren't for those tonfa. Fortunately, they hit just above his elbow where the bone was generally stronger and covered by rock hard muscle. There was an audible thwack and a bruise would raise later, but Chris was otherwise fine. The fist would still connect. As for his groin, there was a crunch, but that was it. Chris had a cup on, as usual. It was impacted slightly, but still functional.
And as for lowering your temperature to hide your thermal signature. It was impossible, thermal signatures work on heat, or in this case, the lack of heat. Kichiro would just turn blue and stand out even more.

Chris Custard Again, unfortunately it took time to say stuff, and by the time Kichiro would've finished chanting, Chris would've already connected with his face... ...if it weren't for those tonfa. Fortunately, they hit just above his elbow where the bone was generally stronger and covered by rock hard muscle. Chris had a cup on, as usual. It was impacted slightly, but still functional. And as for lowering your temperature to hide your thermal signature. It was impossible, thermal signatures work on heat, or in this case, the lack of heat. Kichiro would just turn blue and stand out even more. The knock into the groin would be followed by a reverse spin, carrying what was left of the momentum to send the stick slamming up at his lower abdomen and to the chest. His left hand would be working simultaneously with his right.
His right hand would continue the momentum, and do a reverse spin of the tanfa to come slamming into the opposite side of the elbow. This man would soon be having a lot of pain most likely.
The hit of his tonfa against the arm would at least cause a vibration in the air, that his fox ears would catch. Super strength and casting abilities, this man was an anomaloy. These ripples in the fur of his ear would signal an instinct, and his head would go back and to the left of the incoming fist, his cheek taking a passing blow, but not a direct hit to the face.
If the hits of the tonfas came, and likely they would, he would use the energy transferrd back into them to launch himself backwards and to the right.((Sorry, new to posting in Guilds))

Seeing that Kichiro's muscles moved in his arms, Chris acted accordingly and mud seeped out of his skin, everywhere except for his right impact fist. The right tonfa slapped into the mud and was nullified, the left would do the same if the vine hadn't whipped into his tonfa and knocked it aside. His fist struck, though not as he desired, but it was enough. He couldn't help but smile as Kichiro jumped backwards into the fence, and Chris landed, accidentally running into Kichiro whilst trying to slow down.

The referee would blow his whistle and then forcibly put himself between both fighters, signalling the end of the match. The announcer would enter the ring and take the ref's place as he went to consult the judges. Quickly, the referee would return with another small cue card, and hand it over. Taking a quick moment to read it, the announcer would raise the mic.
"The judges have come to a decision! With a score of 1 to 1, the winner is:
NOBODY!"

There were a few things Sieg wanted to do before his match. He had done things like this loads of times but then again it had been a while. This tournament had brought him back to the days where he fought in the UFC back on earth, where he trully had the match's of his life. He had some great defeats and some great victorys but it all prepared him for gaia. Though now he would get to have some fun and take place in an event that brought him back in the day. Siegs connections with inter-realm telivision to get this event broadcasted not just here in gaia, but also in other realms including the alternate material realm where gaia was known as earth.
Sieg had trouble this time in meditation which was something rare for him as this was something that came natural too him. The thing that got in the way this time was the fact that inside Sieg was bubbling over for anticipation. It was the kind of feeling that kept a kid awake on christmas eve, the thing that makes him want to go to sleep is also the thing keeping him awake because of how excited it made him. Sieg coudnt wipe the smirk off his face as he sat on the cold ground of his prep. room, with his legs crossed and his fore-arms resting on his knee's. He wore no shirt and was only dressed in a pare of 'sprawl' mixed martial arts shorts and some martial arts/grappling shoes. His hands had been wrapped recently and so were his feet. The wraps were special enchanted wrappings that would help to both protect his hand and strengthen it. His hands were lose and relaxed as the rest of his body, yet his posture was straight and erect...Unwavering was this warrior...
His mind became like a pool of clear water, he reviewed in his mind all of his past experiences. All of the lessons learned through failure and hard work made themselves fresh in Siegs mind. The water that his mind personified washed away all doubt within himself and overflowed his mind with confidence. He calmed his spirit, to do away with the feelings and thoughts that caused him to be over hyper and hurt his performance. The voices from the past shouted positive words at him, and he accepted this encouragement but at the same time he expected only one thing; which was to enjoy this bout against the champion.
At this point, his breathing became controlled and his tan tein opened. His body, mind, and spirit became perfectly aligned. His spiritual presence overfload through the entire complex and now he didnt even need to look at the Telivision broadcasting the fight above...for he knew there movements, there pains, and the very breaths they took through his own soul as if they were his own. His body became more his own as he became more conciouse of himself and his surroundings. He gained control over himself and his surroundings that made things seem and feel as if he was no longer bound by his so called physical limits. Now as his chi flowed through his miridians from his spiritual body, and the size and density of his aura increased...He knew he had no limits.
Not a single muscle tensed within his form as he did this, as invigorating as it was; in the process the control he had gained over himself was unbound. His desert yellow eyes remained open the entire time because nothing could distract Sieg from his goal. His goal, his will, was to grow...
Sieg stood up from where he sat, holding his arms still at his side. He would now commence with his shadow boxing, to feel the flow within his body...
It was almost time...

Once again the announcer would call the two fighters into the ring.
The referee would relay the rules between them, adding one other little thing. (NO OOC CARP, OMG) And he'd say it again:
"Touch hands and come out fighting."
Before dropping his arm down between them.

All the fanfare of the crowd and cheering aside, Lazenca was there. There needed to be no mention of his getting there. Through the gateway, into the arena.
Shouyin. Hello again. His right fist was held out to his competitor. Upon the touch, Lazenca immediately set into Tenma ne Garo stance. Lower right lead, hands cross, face and chest protected, tips of toes. Eyes of crystal blue were focused on the man before him.
There were no words, because those took time to speak and Lazenca wasted no time. He would react to Shouyin's movement, or lack thereof.
Go time.

Shouyin was grinning wildly as he smacked Lazenca's hand. Not rough or nothing, that cat, err, wolf had claws, but in a friendly manner. He was wearing baggy black boxing shorts that reached down to his knees, and, a pair of boxers aside, that was it.
He put his right foot back, legs shoulder width apart, feet pointing right forty-five degrees, knees slightly bent. Both hands formed fists in front of his face, the left hanging a little lower in front.
The first move would be his, with a quick kick to the shin with his left leg, not powerful, but enough to take Laz's attention away from the left jab to the nose, and right cross to underneath the eye.

Black slacks, those metal bracers, no shoes or shirt. Standard Lazenca fare. There was no malice in Shou's faux rejection, and that smack just made him smirk. Eye focus was maintained.
Shouyin moved his leg forward to kick him, and Lazenca let it happen. In fact, he widened his stance and stuck his leg out just a little more. Why? Because he'd been focusing the moment he got out there. He was focusing when he went to tap Shou's hand. Let the kick land. Shouyin was going flying, straight to the ground.
Step one: Glare. As familiar with this Tech as people were becoming, there has yet to be anyone to date who was able to stop it. There was a bit of deception- Laz surely looked like he was looking at Shou, but he was looking through him. The air directly behind Shouyin froze, a crystalline formation taking shape in midair. He'd made sure that he was focusing on distance enough that it wouldn't explode on Shou's back. He knew the guy had rock mail, but didn't know if it was always active... and the Glare, at worst, had the power to remove limbs. Anyway... the moment that thing formed, it erupted, force against Shou's back. The normal amount of power could knock clean people off their feet like a direct hit from a shotgun- Laz knew this. Shou was expected to be taken off balance and either stumble or fly towards Laz.
Step two: midair grab. Shou, in that stumbling/flying, would be caught. Laz had already widened his stance- Shou was allowed his kick for this, but was going to pay for it. Since he was already coming forward towards Laz, the momentum was going to be used to drop Shou. Hands reached out and caught Shouyin by his right shoulder [with left hand] and neck- those were just the easiest things to hold onto right now. It's not like he had to have a secure grip, pick Shou up, fight for control, and still slam him. Directing Shou, he twisted his own body to the left so that when he landed, Shou would be on his back. Lazenca did NOT follow Shouyin to the ground. Shouyin was on his way down, and Laz didn't need to put himself in jeapordy with leverage. Assuming all of this went off perfectly, Laz would hop back away from the dust and dirt that picked up when Shouyin's body hit the ground. Gotta be ready for anything.
This all happened in about two, three seconds. The Glare itself took a whole second to both form and erupt, and the rest were spent on catching Shou, then dropping him.

What the frig'? A nasty little explosion went off in Shouyin's back, and he went tumbling into Laz. Well that was uncalled for. And then the arms came for his shoulder and neck. His neck was a special area though, he didn't like people touching it. And although there was plenty of surprise, it didn't stop Shouyin from throwing out his right arm and catching Laz in the side.
The feeling of the rock arm colliding with Mr. Miranda's body probably wouldn't hurt, but it'd be sudden and uncomfortable. However, his grip would be enough to take Lazenca down with him. They'd both hit the ground, Laz probably harder than Shou, since there was added force required to take him down.

Ow... Quite sudden, quite uncomfortable. And since he wasn't bracing at all for a hit... it did kinda sting. I mean, Shou has a rock arm... would'nt've hurt otherwise. He knew he should have actually taken the arm, but noooo. When the hit landed, Laz stumbled back. His base was wide- this kept him from falling immediately. He did go back, and did have to collect himself for just a second. While he went back, he instinctually put his left arm low to about where Shouyin struck him, and kept his right up. Defensive measures and all. If Shou didn't pop back up and try to pummel him, Laz took a breath and reset himself in TnGaro stance.
If Shou did get up, then Laz would have to deal with it. He was in position enough to do so. He watched Shou closely, looking for signs of movement and all the such to speak of Shou's condition and readiness.

Shouyin kind of, scuttled backwards away from Lazenca while on all fours and got up, immediately going back into the previous stance. He had to watch out for that explosion thing, but it was kind of hard to predict. The only clue Shou had was that he was, looking at him while it happened? Lot of good that did.
Showed our hero for trying to kick, he'd always known it was useless, couldn't even throw in a quick opener with those silly feet. Tch... Shouyin would step forward on his left, quickly ducking down to cover the rest of the distance between them before rising up to Lazenca's right, throwing a heavy right punch that was somewhere in between an uppercut and a hook to the man's stomach, nearer to the liver.
