Renee Fletcher  Renee tensed up as she heard the door open, but then relaxed as she heard Angel sigh and then speak, relieved it wasn't his parents or any other demon that would see her as a tasty snack.
As he peeled back the covers, her eyes opened, and she smiled. The sight of him was surprisingly comforting. Seeing the curiosity in his eyes, she cuddled close, and sheepishly explained, "I was kinda afraid your parents would come up here and find me...." In any other situation, she'd feel stupid for hiding under the covers, but then again, this was a bit of a strange situation she was in.

Råtrî Jõlon Hædrîan Unfortunately Ratri had to put full concentration into all of this, so much so that he couldn't even spare a glance Heather's way to see her reaction. But he knew she'd be impressed. Like, duh. That was the whole reason he was showing off now.
He wasn't supposed to show this to anyone anyway. But he figured they were already breaking so many rules that this shouldn't matter.
Either way, he went about this for quite awhile, always changing it up and being creative with his practice so that it would never get boring or too repetitive to watch. Nope. He would make sure it would stay entertaining.
Eventually he was getting tired from this kind of exertion however, and stopped the flying and flinging about.
But when he did, he stood on a small rock high up that held him midair.
The looked down at Heather in the circle in the middle and made more rocks come, as if making stairs for him to descend, coming out of the air to her.
He hopped off the last 10 feet and landed right next to her. Now he was actually breathing heavily and panting, for that was a real work out, unlike anything else he had done since she got there.
But he was grinning mischievously at her, not yet saying a word.

Heather continued to watch the 'show' for the remainder of his performance. Of course, she was extremely impressed.
Especially when he came down on a flight of stairs, built by himself. He jumped- Landing right next to her silently.
She checked out the nails on her fingers, and made a disgusted face at them before looking up at Ratri. "I really need a manicure." She shrugged, sighing a bit.
A smirk turned on her lips as she looked him over. "Aww, is my Ratri sleepy now?" She laughed lightly. "Maybe if you put that much concentration into sex, you'd be even better." She pulled him into a kiss, completely in awe of his actions still.
"Oh yeah, by the way, that was ******** amazing." Heather giggled softly.
Yeah, she was totally impressed, beyond belief. But his ego was already so big, why inflate it?

Råtrî Jõlon HædrîanRatri raised an eyebrow at how nonchalant she seemed at first. Mani-what?
He was still watching her, letting his breathing calm. Yet, he wasn't annoyed until her other comment.
"As if you could ever find better" he scoffed, clearly offended by it, but didn't have too much time to be.
He caught her true feelings in the kiss somehow, and actually just let it ago. Especially after when she did praise him.
Yeah, he needed that.
Ratri wasn't one to handle being let down by someone he was actually trying to impress- while he couldn't care less the rest of the time.
"Damn right it was" he joked, sticking his tongue out at her. He seemed completely back to normal, but was still a little tired and needed rest or at least relaxation before using his powers again, if he could help it. If something happened, he still could though.
"Shall we return?" he asked her simply after that.

He was quiet the jokester.
Heather pulled back from the kiss completely, biting her bottom lip. Her heart was racing again, just as it had that morning when she told that sleeping form how she felt.
No time to think of such things right now! He was talking to her!
"What?" She snapped back to reality.
"Back? Oh yeah sure." She shrugged, as if she hadn't been wandering off in her own little thought bubble.
She stepped out of the circle and across the sand a bit before turning back to him.
"You are so going up first," She smirked, holding her hand out for him.

 демон Zlo DrăgutShe sighed and gave the girl one last glare before forcing her (rather roughly) to walk away. She kept her mind focused on the girl and her gaze focused on Icam. When the girl was about ten meters away she let her go and glared at Icam before turning around and storming off.
She really didn't want to deal with the demon that was supposed to be her lifemate right now. But of course, he followed her and grabbed her arm where she glared at him. "Let go Icam, I don't want to deal with you right now." she said rather harshly.

Icam followed after Zlo and grabbed her arm, not about to let her go just yet. Oh no. And didn't even flinch at the venomous glare.
"Why so touchy Zlo? You wouldn't happen to be having problems, back at the shed?" he asked all nonchalant, though with clear meaning in his eyes.
Yeah, he wanted to know everything about what happened since he left. And if he had ended up killing the little weakling or not. He was alive when he left, but that might have changed since.
Of course he was going to avoid the topic of his little groupie that Zlo had forcefully sent on her way. There were more important things at hand now. Like Zlo, and whatever happened now, and how she reacted to him and well, it didn't start out well.

Råtrî Jõlon HædrîanIt was kind of funny, how she seemed so distracted after the kiss, barely seeming to have heard what he said. It made his mind wander back to this morning...
"Haha, ok, I'll leave you in the dark last for the scary underground demon to get you while I make it to safety first, ok?" Ratri said teasingly.
As he did so, he raised his hand and made the stairs return, then another movement of his hand and a slit opened in the "sky" then the lights went out.
Ah, but only briefly- before he was on fire again- and still touching Heather. But see, he had enough control left that he flowed his warmth through her, and also his control of the flames. They would tickle her skin with warmth, but little else.
And with that, he walked back to the stairs and started to go up, putting his hands on Heather's hips and keeping close, but making her go up ahead of him.

Icam didn't let her remove her arm from his grip, though she tried to jerk away.
"My fault? It's not my fault others think your taking me for granted" oh yeah wow, he totally meant it to. At least the last part. He did complain often enough to be at fault though.
"You wouldn't be harassed anymore if you just accepted us, then no one could complain about anything." He said simply.
He loosened his grip on her arm to the point where he made sure he wouldn't leave a mark, but whiht larger hands, kept them still around her like a steel clasp- just not digging into her skin. And not loose enough to slip from.

демон Zlo DrăgutZlo glared up at him. Then he said what he said and her jaw dropped a little in disbelief then she exploded on him. "TAKING YOU FOR GRANTED?!?! IS THAT WHAT YOU'VE ******** BEEN TELLING PEOPLE?!?!? she stopped for a moment, at a loss for words. ******** seriously?!?!?
SERIOUSLY?!?
She looked away, taking a deep breath and trying not to hurt him. Then she glared up at him again. "People would still harass me you idiot!! Because for some reason half the female population worships the ground you walk on!! The other half think your actually a decent guy!! And the small sliver that I populate know your just a stuck up a*****e!!"
Yeah, she was pissed to say the least.

And when she turned back to him, to makle another sarcastic comment he was lit up in flames.
Heather jumped back, nearly screaming. But instead her jaw just dropped and she felt warmth wash over her. They made their way to the stairs, she was still weary about being close to him when he was setting himself on fire.
"You're.." But she just dropped it as he pulled her into his arms. She slowly moved up the stairs but kept her eyes casted on him most of the time.
"Ha. You're so hot you're on fire." Cheesiest joke ever!

Ok, so, Icam hadn't been expecting that big of a blow up, though he had known she wouldn't be happy with his reply.
He waited for her to finish at least before speaking guardedly.
"It's not what I tell people, it's what they see hon. I try to be good to you, and you just play around me. And then I caught you playing with the human for example, and well- oh yeah" as if this hadn't been what he wanted to know all along, "How did that turn out anyway?" he asked, still speaking casually despite her little fit.
And what that had really meant was, "was that little b*****d still alive?"
But he'd be nice enough for now. In public. He had to keep up the image she spoke of after all- there was a reason for it.
Oh yeah, and maybe he had been speaking quietly enough for the other around them not to hear him mention a human, maybe not.
He could get much louder too, wonder if she would realize that?

She looked up at him, a look of clear displeasure on her face. "You nearly killed him. So I had to waste a ton of energy to heal him to save my skin. Your a really lousy boyfriend you stupid a**." she growled lowly, keeping her voice down. She wouldn't hesitate to take control of him if he raised his voice to tell.

Yep, she caught on, just like he thought she would. But of course Icam wasn't going to do it right here right now, if at all.
Especially when he could tell by the look in her eye what she was thinking. Although, Icam wondered if she could. She was stronger in mental powers yes, but since he had them too- couldn't he fight back?
Better not to find out in a place like this.
"Only nearly? You know you would be best rid of him, then there's nothing for anyone to find out" another hint, even though she already figured it out.
Chances were he wouldn't end up saying anything, but if he could make her think he just might, perhaps they could turn things around.
