"That would be wonderful!" Meli hadn't thought about how they were going to be delivered! Nor had she expected a surprise! Pasha accepted the balloon with both hands, eyes wide.
"For...me? Should I pop it now? Oh, maybe I could take it home, so Aki could watch too!!" Holding the balloon by the knot in one hand, Pasha leaned forward to give Lucia a hug with her other arm. "You're so sweet, Lucia! Thank you!!" She said that into the other Raevan's dark hair, still hugging her for a moment longer.
After she pulled back again, Melisande looked around for the little note she'd drawn for Lucia, of the kitten with the grass and the flower. It was folded neatly. "I made you something too, but I didn't put it in a balloon. Oh, I can do it now!!"
She draped part of her ribbon over the balloon Lucia had given to her, to keep it from flying away, and used the last bit of supplies to fill up a black balloon for Lucia. She made sure to put extra hearts, stars, and glitter inside. "Open this one outside, it will be a mess!" Giggling, she tied it off and handed it over, hoping it was still welcome, even though it wasn't a surprise.
Holding her own balloon close again, Melisande floated higher, the Raevan equivalent of standing. She made sure to scoop up the basket with Alto before looking around. "I had such a fun time, thank you! But can you carry all this? Will you be alright?" Pasha looked genuinely concerned, blue eyes wide, and the blossoms at her temples losing a few petals.

”You can bring it home and show Aki so she can see what we did,” she replied cheerily as she returned the hug. Lucia grinned happily as she watched Pasha put in handfuls of glitter and stars, giggling at her friend’s obvious warning.
”I’ll be fine with it,” the dark haired raevan replied as she carefully placed her own black balloon securely in the duffle bag. Pulling out her cell phone, she quickly called Yuurei, asking to be picked up and finished packing up while her guardian drove the two minutes from the shopping plaza to the park. After she packed everything, Lucia floated up to her full height, wrapped her arms around Pasha in a farewell hug and kissed her on the cheek. ”It was great to see you! We should do something together again soon.” As Yuurei pulled up and parked her car, Lucia lifted the bag and picnic basket, straining a little under the weight and carried it to the car, waving farewell to Pasha as she prepared to inform Yuurei about their evening post delivery.
