A growl left her throat as he walked past her. "It's a wonder if you actually get many guests...and I am no lady..." This male had to be the most aggrivating she'd ever met. Her tail twitched as she contemplated swatting him with it.

Gahlithar remarkably kept his cool, at least for now, as he shot her a glance over his shoulder, "What guests I get and don't get are of my own business and not yours. And I'm pretty sure you are a female, and I was taught to show women respect in that matter. But I am not going to hold you hostage if you wish to leave. So if you do, there is the road." He grunted, motioning to the path out of the mountain pass.

"If I leave, I don't want you breathing down my neck again Gahlithar. You just be a good boy and watch over your pretty land." Her eyes narrow as she swats him on the head with her paw in a sort of smack. "I don't need to be around such an irritant..." Takes to the sky, huffing angrily.

Gahlithar narrowed his eyes and grabbed her arm after she smacked him, "Watch yourself Milady." He stated in a gruff manner. "I'm sorry if my trying to help you is such an irritant. But you... aren't much better yourself. I took time out to try and make sure you would be alright tonight, and you're treating me like I'm the worst lion on the face of this isle. So forgive me for not caring if you're irritated at me."

She'd gotten about an inch off the ground, so replying to him was easy enough. Her shoulders straightened as she looked him in the eye. "You should talk. You told me what I should do, said all of this without understanding what happened to me. Tell me oh mighty King. Have you lost family? I bet your alone here and pretend to be a King so others won't put you down."

"I've lost many in my lifetime." His eyes narrowed. "I've lost my parents and my brother!" His tail twitched as it hit the ground with a thud. "I was telling you what to do so that you could get over your loss and get on with your life! Because I KNOW what its like. I know what it takes to become strong again. I was trying to help you!" He hissed at her, anger now boiling up in the pits of his stomach.

The anger she'd formed slipped from her features as quickly as they'd formed, a new kind of sorrow in her eyes now. She'd gotten angry and hurt this male. "I didn't know...I'm sorry...I should've left long before...." With that she stepped away from him, her ears back.

He grunted and turned his head completely from her, taking a moment to draw in a deep breath to calm down. "Sit down, I'll go find food. You have to be hungry." He stated before taking another look at her. "Well, I can't make you stay, but if you do I'll go find you something."

She sat down as he said, looking at him confused. "Ok.." The tone in his voice made her stay there now. "I'll...be right here then..."

"Good." He stated, nodding to her a moment before bounding off, "I'll be back with food." He then disappeared into the darkness, a silver sheen drawing itself over his coat and then turned to black as if blinking out.
