Miles smiled, looking from Kole to Matth. "Alright, Dad then," he said, before a twinkle appeared in his eyes. "You'll probably need to get used to that, though. I know Mom did. Don't worry, Dad. I'll make sure to Name you whenever I see you!" This was clearly meant as a reassurance, but Miles didn't quite achieve the air for it. "So, what do you want to teach Kole? I assume something other than 'stupid flowers'," the boy paused, looking at his future father. "Hey dad, don't you think Kole's a bit young to be talking, anyway?"
Sammi toddled over to Miles' bed, and pulled out three board games. One was Candy Land, another was Chutes and Ladders, and the last was Hi-ho Cherrio. The games didn't require the ability to read, so they were ideal for the toddlers. "Wan play these?" Sammi asked, tilting her head slightly as she spread the boxes out so he could see each lid. "Milo Kitty pick game, kay?" She smiled at him, obviously having no idea that he was thinking about playing a game of cat and mouse. With her being the mouse.
Reiya followed her friend, and giggled at Aife's reaction to the play-doh. "Look, Aife! It fun. Like sand, but better! We make bess cassle with this!" She took a lump of play-doh out of its ziplock baggie. "We make cool stuff now," she explained. "It no fall down, no worry!"

Matthias nodded, acting reassured. The boy was trying, he'd give him that much. "I'd like to try and teach him some basic vocabulary." he said, then pausing. "One is never too young to learn, Miles. It's best to help him get a good start now rather than wait to teach him."
Koloro, while the big people were talking, busied himself with chewing on Matthias' hair. Yummy.
"What those?" Milo said, frowning at the multicolored boxes. He didn't like them already, he could tell. And nothing would change his mind. Anything that colorful had to be stupid and dumb. "That not game. 'S cardboard." he said, pointing out the obvious. Just what was this girl trying to pull?
Aife smiled, her face lighting up. "We uild?" she asked, grinning. And it wouldn't fall down? AWESOME! What more could she ask for?

"Sounds good, Matth--er, I mean Dad." he frowned slightly, before brightening. "I guess you won't be the only one who has to get used to this, huh Dad? I think Kole's around the same age as Ellie, so maybe we can teach him. But then... I think Ellie was already talking well when we first found her."
"Games," Sammi explained, almost patiently. She opened the Candyland box, and spread it out. She seemed quite knowledgable about how to set the game up, too. Maybe it was from all the times she'd played with her mother and siblings. "What color you wanna be? I be red!" She picked up the red plastic figure and put it at the start.
"And Auntie Wisa say we keep!" Reiya said excitedly. Apparently being able to keep what you made was an all new concept--probably because certain older brothers made sure she put the play-doh back in the right containers. How lame of them! "We build lots and lots! What you wan build firss?"
