Marie listened to his words and scoffed. "My precious humans? What's that supposed to mean? Do you think that just because I am half human that I protect them from being hunted, that I don't hunt them myself?" She asked, clearly upset. "On the contrary, I do favor human blood to their actual food, however, unlike you, I'm not venomous to them, and cannot change them." A fierce wind began to howl, although she didn't react to it, for she knew it was coming. Too bad she couldn't make it lightning, for she wished she could .

Bradley stopped in his tracks, allowing her to come closer if she so chose. Probably not a good idea, but she lacked the tools that could harm him, as far as he knew. Not that she would try to kill him anyway. Without a flinch, the sky darkened slightly, and fierce lightning began striking. "No, no, I just figure that you're around them enough to form a particular... fondness for the creatures." He responded bluntly.

Marie continued walking closer, until they were within five feet of eachother. "Sure, I have some that you could call 'friends', but I can't stay in one place for too long without them becoming suspicious, therefore, there is no truly deep connection." She noticed the lightning, but knew that she didn't do it. 'Odd...' She thought, before letting the rain resume its downpour, like before, pulling her hood up moments before it even fell through the tree limbs and to the ground..

Bradley stared her right in the eyes, tense with the now close distance. He flipped his hood up, before finding the right words to respond. "Quite a life, ey? Always running away from those who care." He said, fully knowing he had nothing like that. Not that he wanted anything like that anyway. He'd much rather be alone, as it was much less complicated. He continued to allow the storm to brew, making the thunder louder, and the lightning strikes cdloser together. No doubt the humans would be confused.

Marie looked up at the sky, the flash of lightning reflected in her dark eyes. "My, the weather seems to have a mind of it's own today, doesn't it?" She said, making it hail small chunks of ice, catching the first piece before it hit the ground. "Besides, they can't truly care for you, if they don't know the real you, now can they?" She said, ignoring the plunks of the tiny spheres of ice hitting her, and the area around them. .

Bradley chuckled, instantly making the hail larger, about golf-ball sized. He flashed his hand out, and caught one of the stones in midair, before it hit the ground. "Sure seems like it does indeed have a mind of its own today." He countered, chuckling and dropping the ice. "I wouldn't know, I don't meddle in the ways of others."

Marie glared at the frozen golf ball chunks of ice. "Hey, I didn't want them that big...." She said, confused at their sudden enlargement. "And, maybe you don't realize it, but you do, maybe it doesn't affect you, but it does others." She said, referring to when ever he took a human victim.

Bradley chuckled a deep throaty chuckle. "And you think I care? There's billions of them. One little disapearance doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme." He said, his voice layered thick with sarcasm. He did a double take, however, when she mentioned that she hadn't wanted the hail that big. He also knew that if he let her know of what he could do so soon, things could happen. "Wait, you didn't want them that big? What say do you have in the weather?"

Marie realized that she probably shouldn't have mentioned that bit about the hail. "Um..Why does it matter to you?" She asked, clearly flustered, cheeks tinted with a faint blush. 'Great, smart move...' She thought to herself as she made the fog disappear. At least that was going right.

Bradley watched her, seeing the faint blush come to her face. He immediately knew he had hit a nerve. "It doesn't, it just seemed odd to me that you would care so much about the weather." He said, his voice smooth and cunning. "It's almost like.. you make the weather happen." He suddenly made the hail stop, catching the very last stone, before dropping it to the ground.

Marie's gaze became suspicious as the hail mysteriously stopped. She raised an eyebrow, watching as he caught the last hailstone and let it fall to the ground. "And, it seems to me as if you know a thing or two about the weather as well." She said, picking up one of the remaining few orbs of ice, and watching as it melted in her hand easily due to her body temperature being about ten degrees higher than any normal human's.

Bradley chuckled, looking at his feet for a second and shaking his head lightly before looking back up to her. "Oh, it sure seems like that, does it?" He chuckled, watching her face. "That's what years of studying will do to you, I suppose."

Marie laughed "Years of studying? That's funny..I've probably been in school as much as you were while you were human. I'm only 19 years old." She said matter of factly. "If you must know, I can control the weather, but only on a minimal basis, like make it rain or snow, I can try to make thunder and lightning, but actually succeeding is rare." She explained.

Bradley chuckled, shaking his head once more. "Okay, okay, you've got me. I did only go to school until I was nineteen, and I don't ever plan on going back." He admitted, allowing a half-hearted smile, though even at that, anyone could tell he had an exceedingly beautiful smile. "And it's rather odd that you can do, because if you must know, I can control the weather, but only by making it worse. It's nearly impossible for me to change it all together."

Marie smiled, brillantly of course. "Well, isn't that odd, actually finding someone with a similar power as your own." She commented, lowering the jacket hood once again, rain gone for the time being. "My name's Marie Evanson." She introduced herself, offering him a hand to shake.
