Oh, how the moons have passed :: I'm about to turn 19 this upcoming weekend. I continue to feel older all the time on Gaia. The majority of people I run into are under 15, so when I meet those around my age or older I tend to feel a whole lot better. Haha
I never see him around... :: I'm going to college at one of the top universities in Florida - and thinking about changing my major. I'm always busy - be it homework, school, friends, meetings - you name it. I'm also addicted to Gaia - I get on and hours seem to fly by. I'm always on but I might not be at the computer or I'm doing something else, or I'm having momentary lapses of no-life and I'm completely into some random thread or something.
What's he into? :: I LOVE to read. Science fiction and fantasy are my choice but I can read and get into anything. I love random PM's and comments - though sometimes I'll be away from the computer (or doing something) so it might take me awhile to respond. Meeting new people is great and I love it. I also love to surf the internet, hang with friends, have new experiences (my new motto is I'll try anything once - with some exceptions. Lmao), and do anything technology related. I also love to debate and argue about things - it's good aerobic exercise of the mouth...or fingers
How does he see the world? :: My viewpoints on the world are a whole lot different then most people. I'm an observant Christian who is open-minded. I believe in using the full smorgasbord of vocabulary available to me: so yes - that means I cuss - if you don't like that, I'm cool with it. Either ignore it or notify me and I'll try and tone it down: but don't expect me to change. I love my friends and I'll defend them to the death (as some of you may have noticed before *cough*). I can sometimes be called crazy or weird but at least I'm having fun. I can go on and on so let me shut up. PM me or drop me a line if you want to know more - in fact, I encourage it! =D

Hai thar! Kineka_the_Warrior here. Or just Kineka. Or Jamie. Or whatever you feel like calling me that day. I seriously don't mind nicknames since I'm not very creative with my own screennames. -hinthint-
I'm a newly born seventeen-year-old and I'm a junior in high school. Some of my classes and my lunch table make me want to punch something sometimes, so you may be hearing about that quite a bit, once I get into a flow of posting here regularly. I HATE text talk/chatspeak. It's really annoying. And in case you couldn't figure it out, I'm a literate (obviously rolleyes ) and I like to say I'm pretty intelligent (at the risk of being arrogant... xd ).
I love to read and write. They're both my escape from the stress and pressures of everyday life where I can live the ideas in my head that I wish were real. My favorite genres to read are science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Any 'chick books' or anything like that -cough-Twilight-cough-I will not read because they always seem immature, juvenile, and not very well written. I'm more for dark, seductive books that involve strong emotions and death. Or have a good storyline, either one works.
But, with every rule there are exceptions. I just finished reading Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac and I loved it, although it was just Young Adult Fiction. So, what I'm trying to get at here is, don't hold me to this "I only read sci-fi/fantasy/horror" books because I may like other things. Mkay?
My favorite genres to write are Drama and Romance fanfictions. My fandoms are Harry Potter, Glee, and Dead Poet's Society right now. I'm not big into original fiction yet, but I'm getting there, just you wait! I don't like to write sci-fi stories because they always either copy ideas (like, I'm writing a sci-fi Glee story and it has Harry Potter ideas for the fantasy parts, but it's not a crossover) or they're always too...dramatic? I'm trying to find the right word. Well, I go a little over the top with my fantasy stories and I figure, since none of it exists and I'm probably better at writing about things that do exist, like drama and romance, I'll stick to writing those.
I'm not much of a poetry writer, but I love reading it, as I love reading stories, whether they'd be fanfiction or original, and discussing books and authors. I'm glad I was accepted to this guild and I'm sorry this whole introduction thing is getting really long... sweatdrop . I hope to see you guys around!

Allo all. My name is v irl, call me whatever you like I guess. I will be active if the guild is. hmm. books. ya.
I heard mention in this thread of robert jordan, I am a fan, and Hunter S. Thompson of whom I am also a fan. My personal favorite authors are Dostoevsky, Hermann Hesse, David Foster Wallace, Dylan Thomas, ect, ect, ect,. I am 23 if anyone is curious.
