In my dads car... he and my stepmum had gone out to get fish and chips (yes...im english) and Elevation came on the radio, it was a compertition to win tickets to see them live... and i was transfixed to the radio... I spend most of the holiday looking for U2 cd's or U2 related things, and when I got home I put on the music channels and saw the video to elevation and BOOM... heart heart heart heart When ever I see that video I get nostalgic feelings..lol

I was watching MTV and Beautiful Day came on. [this was around my young age of eight, mind you, and it was right when All that you Can't Leave Behind came out.]
Then I started hearing them more and more often on the radio, until one day my geography teacher played Sunday, Bloody Sunday in his classroom this year, when it sparked my interest once more, and now I am obsessed. heart
And just recently I told my father of my U2 obsession, and he reveals to me that he himself was obsessed with U2 back when they first came out, in the late 70's/early 80's and he was working as a minor in McCall, Idaho, at a fast food restaurant.
The reason why I never knew of my father's love for U2 was because he and my mother divorced when I was three and I rarely have the oppurtunty to see him.
Wow, this is a little long. sweatdrop

Well, I don't know accually... First I didn't liked U2 at all! But my sister and mom did. (and dad a little) I started to like a couple of songs. Vertigo, New Years Day and Where The Streets Have No Name. And suddenly I started to download more and more untill I had every song of every CD. sweatdrop Then I asked my sister about something of U2, and now I'm a fan. Things you hate can change to things you really love. xd I now can't imagen my life without this band o.o

Well, if you get technical, about when I was 3. But I found out that all my favorite songs were by one group and so I went into that and the rest is history.
