Glaring up at the boy, she didn't know why, but she was still angry. She knew Rory wasn't so stupid as to engage in whatever had happened when he knew his girlfriend was likely to come back any minute. And yet she wanted to blame him, even though he was innocent. Taking the scissors from the boy, she set them down on the counter, turning to sit on the bed. "I know." The continuous sobs outside made Lee sigh with annoyance, the girl looking to the side to keep herself from making eye contact with Rory. Why did she still feel betrayed when he had nothing to do with it and the girl responsible had already been taken care of?

Rory shut the door, quieting the sounds of Hailey's sobbing, and walked to Lee. "I didnae know she'd come in here like tha'. I thought she'd gotten th' hint well enough yesterday. I'm sorry, Lee. I donnae know what else t'say." He was fairly sure nothing had happened more than Hailey snuggling him and kissing his neck, but he felt as guilty as if it hand been the blond girl in his bed the night before rather than the girl he really loved. "What . . . what can I do t' make it up t' you?"

Lee hugged herself, looking away with what could've either been a disgusted expression or just Lee holding back tears. "You can try never touching me again..." Okay, that wasn't what she wanted, and she was really just going out of her way to make Rory feel bad. She'd regretted speaking almost instantly. Biting her lip, she covered her mouth with the back of her hand before crying a bit herself, standing and clinging to Rory. "I'm sorry." She managed to speak between sobs. "It's just not fair..."

The boy hugged her back, not sure what to do. Girls simply just didn't talk to him aside from his sisters and he'd never had a relationship before, let alone have one get screwed up so badly so quickly. "What ain't fair, Lee? I tol' you I didnae do anything. I wisane e'en awake till you came in."

Shaking her head, Lee spoke into his chest, not able to lift her head up and look at the boy. "No, I mean... she got to do whatever she wanted with you, even though... even though she knew you weren't her's to be touching. Just doing whatever she wants like that... It's not fair." Her crying was calmer at this point, more just tears than sobs, but her voice was still stuffy and cracked.

"Aye, well, I cannae say I enjoyed bein' violated like tha', neither," Rory sighed, rubbing her back. "Some people just donnae ken t' boundaries. I figured she might come back an' try somethin, I didnae know she'd try this. I'm sorry, Lee. I donnae know what else t' say."

Managing to look up at the boy, Lee said softly, "It's okay. You dun have to say you're sorry. I just..." She looked back down, hiding her face in his chest again. "I love you, Rory." There, she said it. Even if he already knew it, she wanted to say it out loud.

A small shiver went through him as she spoke the words. He hugged her tighter, hunching over so his forehead rested against the top of her head. "I love you, too, Lee."

Tilting her head up so she could see him, her face softened as she searched his eyes. He'd said it, for the first time clearly and directly said the words. It had hardly been any time at all, and yet it felt like she'd waited a lifetime. Pulling her arms up and resting them on his shoulders, she kissed him gently, tears lightly streaming down her face still.

Rory kissed her back, arms going about her waist and lifting her up in an attempt to carry her to bed for an early morning sequel of what they'd done the night before.

Her smile faintly returning to her, Lee gave Rory no protest, despite the early morning and the group of people that had likely congregated outside.

Lee's eyes were half closed as she nuzzled up against Rory's neck, smiling softly to herself. She found that the second time around had gone much better, half about to thank the boy for a job well done. Honestly, if Rory didn't protest, she'd be fine with lying there all day.

Rory watched her through hooded eyes, content that his skills at pleasing her were getting better. The first time had been awkward and, for Lee, painful. This time had gone a lot better. He stretched a bit, rolling onto his back, one arm outstretched for Lee to rest her head on.
"If you're up fae movin' about, we should prolly wash up, get dressed, an' gae t' find Keagan t' ask if tha' ticket booth job is still open," Rory murmured, not exactly wanting to get up really, but knowing there were some things more important than lazing about in bed. Plus, he was starting to get a little hungry.

Brushing the hair out of her face, Lee reluctantly pushed herself up, bending down to kiss Rory for a moment before sitting. "Fine." Rubbing her shoulder, Lee looked back at the boy. "I dun have to stay outside while you wash up anymore, right?" It would just seem silly at this point...

"Nae. Hell, you can help get all th' hard t' reach places, like me back," Rory said, crawling over her to get up. "Or maybe some o' th' fun bits, too." He kissed her gently then got up and went to get some water boiling so they could bathe.

Lee couldn't help but blush at the last comment, though she wasn't sure why when they'd already gotten this far. Covering herself with sheets, she was half tempted to just go back to sleep, having woken up much earlier than normal. As Rory worked on boiling water, Lee sat thinking for a moment. "You wouldn't want me being a showgirl, would you?" Not that she was seriously considering it, she was really more curious about what he thought. True, he was probably used to the idea, his mother being one herself, but she remembered Faolan not being too thrilled by the thought before, and he hadn't even cared for her like Rory did.
