"You sure know how to make a woman feel good," she said with an attempt at a smile, trying to get herself back into the playfulness of the evening.
"And of course I have the most handsome and caring fiancee one could ask for." She caressed his face gently, her eyes showing the sincerity of her words.
"So where are we off to m'lord?" she said, putting her arm through his after she stepped from the carriage.

If Rhine could blush and it show it was probably happening right now. He kissed her again- he loved to make her feel special and wanted and needed.
"First things first," he whispered as he bent over and slipped the shoes from her feet. "Let's make you comfortable as possible... Not to mention they won't do you much good in the sand."
He wasn't going to openly tell her where they were going... The mystery of the evening was what kept things on edge and spicy.

"Hmmmm," she said, trying to figure where she was being led. She gripped the shoes in her free hand and let him lead her whereever he had planned. While she waited to find out, her mind went back to one of the earlier topics of the evening.
"Are you serious that you have everyone on standby for the wedding? Like everybody or just your family?" She was really curious how much effort he had put into making that particular thing a possibility for the night's agenda.

"I stopped by your work and talked a few things over with them... And, of course I told you that 'my' family already knows my intentions. As, for your maid of honor I'm sorry she was the one person I couldn't get a hold of. But, if I told my mother tonight... Well, she has a way of working miracles."
"If there is one thing I know how to do, it is go all out," Rhine said as he lead her down into a candlelit area on the beach. There was wooden deck under them, but from visual you couldn't tell because of the layer of sand. There was a soft romantic violin sound playing in the background- he had tapped himself earlier for this occasion. Around the railing there were round tables that could seat two to three people comfortably. Just off to the side was a little restaurant that looked no more than a shack.

Keeta drew in a delighted breath when she saw the scene. The lighting, seclusion, music and sea air provided an amazing backdrop for this evening she was spending with Rhine. She looked up at him expectantly.
"That you do," she said sincerely. "And I don't want to waste your efforts, so lets talk about it over the wonderful dinner you planned. I wish I could say I would have been able to plan an evening like this for us..." she chuckled slightly.
"Thank you for taking the time to show me you love me. I didn't doubt it...but it's nice to know anyways."

"With a little help from sisters you could plan something like this... And don't go on about funds because trust me you'll never be able to break the bank." Rhine had his usual lopsided goofy grin that said all was right with the world and that nothing could come between him and what he had planned.
Rhine kissed her gently on the lips. He wasn't intentionally treating her like glass... it was just something that seemed to come to him considering he wasn't exactly sure how to treat her. "I'll always to the best of my ability make sure you know each and every day how much I love you and how much I appreciate you."
"Dinner or dancing first or a little of both at the same time?"

"Let's eat first, if you don't mind..." Keeta said, smiling at the kiss and leaning in to him.
"I'm hungry and I want to hear more about the possible wedding we could have tonight, unless it's a secret?" she said, with a bemused expression.
"Because if we do tie the knot tonight, I'm sure dancing will be included in the celebrating afterwards."

Rhine wrapped himself, tail included, around Keeta. He was content- there was rarely a moment he wasn't. "Have a seat," he said after a couple minutes. He pulled out a chair for her. "I'm going to go and let them know we've arrived.
He wasn't going to say much about the wedding or any plans he had this evening. He liked the idea of the mystery of the evening and noticed how much she seemed to be enjoying it.

Keeta sat and watched him as he walked away to inform "them" that they had arrived. She hadn't missed the fact that he had completely ignored her question. Of course she wanted to know more, but she would let him have his fun. Although it was frustrating not being able to have more details on the possible wedding.
While she waited, Keeta pulled out her cell phone. Rhine had said Jiao'lan was the only one, he'd been unable to reach. Well damnit, if she was getting married tonight she wanted her friend there. She punched in the numbers that would ring her maid of honor. She was pleased when someone picked up on the third ring.
"Jiao'lan! How are you?....I'm good....Rhine's kind of planned a surprise evening for me that might include an early wedding!.....well there's a story I'll have to tell you next time you and I hang out...I don't want to still be on the phone when he gets back, so really quick my question is: Are you available to come tonight if we kind of jump the gun on the wedding thing?....You can! Great! Someone'll call you to let you know, although I have a feeling that someone won't be me. I'm not really in the loop tonight...Sorry I can't chat longer....I'll see you soon!" Keeta ended the conversation with a snap of her flip phone. She hoped she hadn't let Jiao'lan too confused....

Though Rhine wasn't gone long at all he had actually accomplished a good bit. He'd managed to send a message through the mirror to his mother on the progress of the evening and the potential of where it was heading. But, he also told his mother not to jump into anything.
The second thing Rhine had done was grab the second gift of the evening for Keeta. A strand of pearls for her wrist that matched the set around her neck. He had wrapped the strand around the stem of the glass. A place that wasn't to obvious until she went to use the glass.
The glasses were only filled with water. Just a little something to hold them over until they ordered. Lastly, on his way back to the table he grabbed a couple of menu's.
"They'll be out shortly to get our order," Rhine said as he sat the glass and menu before Keeta. He then did the same for his own place setting.
He couldn't help but to notice how beautiful she was.

"OK," she said with a smile. "Thanks for taking care of that. What do you reccomend here?" she asked as she took the menu from him and started to open it. Her gaze lingered on his for a moment before glancing down at the words on the page. He was so thoughtful about everything.
"I managed to reach Jiao'lan. She said she can make it, if we decide to do this thing tonight...." Keeta said, significantly as she reached for the water glass he had set on the table. Her fingers groped for the stem of the glass, having been attempting to look at Rhine, while picking up the stemware. She look down when her fingers brushed something unexpected though.
"Oh Rhine!" she breathed, clearly pleased. "You just have no end to the surprises tonight." Carefully, she removed the strand from the glass and slipped it around her wrist, before offering it to him to clasp.
"Thank you so much..." she smiled, although she was starting to feel overwhelmed with everything. How could she ever hope to be someone who deserved all this?

"They offer what any typical seafood restaurant would. But, they also have steak and chicken dishes..." He figured that was a good enough way of putting it. Though he spent most of his days making fancy and most of the time complicated dishes didn't mean he liked to eat it. He knew very well that it was more about appearance and taste and quality than quantity. And, he figured they'd want good food and a good amount of it. "I like to come here for the fried gator tail and fried clam strips... But, also because they have some of the best desserts down this beach strip.
"Then all my mother needs to do is drop by the house and grab your dress?" Rhine said with a pleased grin as he clasped the bracelet. He was very happy with the fact that Keeta had been able to get a hold of Jiao'lan.
His attention was brought from her eyes to her entire expression when she came across the strand of pearls. "So long as it continues to make you happy then I have no need for the surprises to end," he said as he fastened the strand around her wrist.

"I suppose...." she said, taking the moment to admire the bracelet, before looking at him with a smile.
"I just never want to take for granted all you do for me." She paused and watched him with a meaningful gaze before commenting on the earlier things he had said.
"And your mother actually won't have a need to get the dress. Jiao'lan has it. I didn't want you stumbling upon it on accident at the house..." she finished with a wink.
"That is...if you still really want to do this tonight..."

"Keeta, I'd marry you in a heartbeat. Without a second thought. Without a doubt." He grinned and gave her hand a firm squeeze.
"I am going to insist before we involve my mother, and your best friend that we do eat... Because once we're each others 'according to paper'- you're mine for the rest of the evening." He grinned wickedly just long enough for her to see it. He knew that she would pick up on his intentions.
"Dun worry Love about me ever finding something you have intentions on keeping hidden... The last thing I do is go looking through girly things... Unless of course I am in the process of taking it off..." He again wore that wicked grin.

Keeta felt herself flushing as her thoughts followed his own, and she had to work to get herself to focus on the menu in front of her. She cleared her thoat and picked it up, so she could pretend to read the words in fornt of her.
"Yes...eat-eating would begood before we get to that part of the evening. " She took her eyes off the menu for a moment to give him a guilty smile.
"Speaking of involving your mother...." she started, trying to bring herself back to the present for the moment, "how are we going to avoid her figuring things out and spilling the beans as far as the baby goes. You know better than I do that she'll figure it out within minutes. I want to wait until we've been man and wife for at least a few days before we share the news with the surrounding world. You and I are the only ones who know right now." She gave him a meaningful glance before looking back at the menu. Her eyes fell on the tilapia hollandaise. It sounded good enough and she didn't have the mental energy to continue to focus on something as trivial as a menu.
