I do enjoy them both, but I can't really decide which I like better. Leaning towards LoL 'cause it just seems more fun overall and I like the stylized look.
And don't quit Max I haven't even had a chance to play lately. ********' work and school.

I played one game of HoN... has everything I hate about DOTA goin on... confusing item crafting, relying on couriers?, denying. Basically just dota with better graphics, which is p stupid. I am not that good at DOTA type games but in terms of playstyle I enjoy LoL a lot more and might actually buy it because of its basicness.
edit:
everytime I launch LoL I have to open ports because windows defender flips out. howtofix?

ps lol is free you don't have to buy it if you dont want to.
pps i wish lol had denying. i am very good at last hit and deny, and love shutting lanes down by outfarming. sad

I am not that good at DOTA type games but in terms of playstyle I enjoy LoL a lot more and might actually buy it because of its basicness. edit: everytime I launch LoL I have to open ports because windows defender flips out. howtofix? Denying is a core part of the game, not only denying creeps but towers as well. Doing both can substantially cut off a good portion of the opposing teams gold income. As for the item crafting - It can be a bit confusing trying to craft items using other crafted items that require other crafted items, but they do make it pretty simple by letting you click on the item/material you need to make said item and opens the window for you. They also did a lot in HoN other than just make it DotA with better graphics - they threw out heroes that had no place in the game (heroes that were thrown into DotA because fans craved new content) and reworked a lot of other heroes for balance and even added their own new heroes which are pretty good. Some view the game as 'unoriginal' but the fact is that a lot of people wanted to play DotA on a standalone engine and that's what HoN did, and if they swayed too far away from the original DotA then people would have become less appealing to the fanbase.

I just don't like dota games I guess. ): idk what fans want, I just want a fun game to play where I don't feel like I am horrible at it all the time (ie wtf items am i buying oh god how i get here i am not good at computer)

I took me a decent amount of time to learn and memorize all the item builds for each character based on mood for play style or team counters and now I'm trying to relearn it all in HoN. ):

maybe I should buy pokemon. it's pretty intense now, though. i watched a video of a wifi game on youtube and it was like.. people actually use debuffs and s**t now, and there's strategy besides "OMG SPAM ATTACK TIL DEAD USE THIS TYPE VS THIS TYPE" gonk

my bud was saying something about Pokemon platinum carts selling for like $400 on ebay if you have every pokemon. I know someone in one of my classes that has that kind of cart. I kind of want to steal it now~
