"Frith, ohhhh, Frith. The Great Frith has no dealings with these things, takes away, takes away." He babbled quietly, but he seemed relieved after her patting him in a reassuring way. He was completely unused to the way he was being treated, especially by a complete stranger.
When he was feeling himself and the visions and nightmares weren't taking a toll on his mind, he would have to remember to thank her sometime.
"Different, yet the same. Blood. Oh, the blood. The stinking bloooooood." His paws ran over his face in a nervous, cleaning gesture and his floppy ears flattened as tightly as they could. "Can't see them. Can't see specifics, but there will be blood. So much. Too much. Any is too much. Elil." He rocked and swayed slightly, dismay easily read on his distressed features.
"But, Bramblebur-rah, be careful! Keep these words in your mind, though I have no specifics. Be careful. And we are new, new, new. Many won't like. Won't like us. Tension still there. Be careful about it, if you share it."

Marsh's ears flattened a bit at what Ninebark said regarding Frith... but she supposed after all the terrible things he'd seen... She shook her head. At least the reassurance seemed to have had its intended effect. Perhaps after all of this got sorted out she'd go check on him... well, if she could find him.
She had to suppress a shudder at the talk of blood and nervously groomed her own face for a moment until the subject changed. Though she wasn't sure she liked the change much better...
"I'm sure Bramblebur has figured out by now which of the Owsla he wouldn't want to tell about this... and he's not intending to have the warren alerted. Not until we know for sure what it is... right?" She turned to Bramblebur, needing a bit of reassurance of her own. "I'd hope nothing happens to you all..." Her ears drooped and she frowned.
If some of the former hlessi got ousted for this, others might too. Whether because they'd aggravated some of the Owsla in the past or because they wanted to stand up for the others. And if Ninebark's predictions proved true afterward... would they be allowed back again, or would the warren split further? The thought unsettled her.
