A purr escaped in the joy of hearing Xnah response and the nuzzle, it gave her strength... though it didn't give her energy however. She was both proud and envied her two children whom came with her, both having been adults where experiencing life in all it's glory it gave her a way to feel relived. Most of all her daughter had become closer to the male whom had rescued her, the closest she'd ever have to that idealistic knight in shining armor, and was making a close bond. Or rather Liqui had taken note in her daughters going off uncomfortably around all the love and coming back perky and content to be surrounded in all the new emotions that Liqui had once taken for granted. She herself had all but given up, and even as everything winding down from the emotional burst between the two females she still considered Xnah as her safest bet. Should she never find a male to trust agian in her life she was content in the knowledge that her friend would always be here in whatever fashion.
As her gaze was brought up she was happily smiling to herself still as she met the grey lionesses eyes once again. Her words brought a laugh deep from the lionesses lungs out to surface as a light giggle, old and with mate and old children she knew her children where already adults but had Xnah had cubs too? The thought hadn't occurred to her till then and though she wanted more than anything to catch up with her best friend right now all her body told her to do was get comfortable... it was going to be a long nap. "I want to hear everything... everything thats changed, everything thats happened, what trouble you've gotten into..." She giggled again and smiled though her smile faltered as her eyes started to close on their own. Fighting to keep her eyes open left no strength to pull her head away from it's sag back towards Xnah's side, the promise of comfort and safety.

"In time... all in due time..." She stated with a soft coo of her voice as she stroked Liqui's back comfortingly. A smile came to Xnah's face just to know that she could help somehow, even with her failure of being there when Liqui needed her most, at least she knew now, and she was here, as best as she could be. And here she would be, for as long as possible. "But first... take care of yourself... and rest... and once you're better we'll have all the time in the world to catch up on what each of us has missed."

A very muffled "Mmm" was all that purred from Xnah's side. She agreed but had already given into the comfort the grey lioness had to offer. As soon as Liqui had been allowed to settle back onto the floor she'd quickly moved in and buried herself in as much of Xnah as she possible could manage.
The contact had a positive effect on her mind, today she dreamed about past memories, before the entire ordeal, before things got complicated. Just for this nap she saw nice things, she wasn't threatened nor did she fear for her loved ones. As Liqui's breathing slowed there was no way she was waking on until she was ready nor did she obviously intend to before she'd regained enough energy to catch up with her best friend.

Xnah couldn't help but smile at her friend as she drifted off. Moving her head down, Xnah laid her head against Liqui's body, purring softly as she nuzzled into the soft brown fur. She let her own eyes shut, the bliss of being able to hold Liqui close gave her more joy than she had ever had. She had missed her dearly and there was nothing that could make her happier at this moment.

It had been amble amount of time for his daughter to have her quiet alone time, he highly expected she'd spent most of the time sleeping but nevertheless it was the ability to enjoy it to herself that counted. In fact he hadn't even headed all the way back home, just for a quick drink of water, an admiration of the beautiful surroundings. A quick freshen up was all he needed to bide the time before started a slow pad back, keeping a close track on his daughters scent it was then he picked up the other.
The other was familiar... yet he couldn't quite place it so he carried on had he picked up this scent off Liqui and his two grandchildren? Had he left his only daughter alone just to be taken away by that monster again?
Chagi's pace hastened the scent growing stronger as he came closer then he saw them. Instantly his face slackened and relaxed, a smile tugging silently at the edge of his maw, there was defiantly no danger for him to worry about here.
The other... the familiar scent he now recognized instantly at the grey fur curled protectively around his daughter. The friend, best friend hadn't it been to his Liqui growing up and nodded to the pair fully aware they where both neither aware or awake to notice him. Silently he turned to leave, he had no fear of harm coming to his first daughter. Not with Xnah around and should he be required he was full in the knowledge that the other female knew where his family and territory lay.
Let t'em be... t'ey sure gots t'emself's some catc'ing ups to do....
