The idea of a traveling companion thrilled Lesu, and he went into a wide grin, showing off his large, sharp teeth. “Then a companion trip it is! I cannot argue with company! They did not seem disturbed by his bark, and dark with an air of superiority to a creature who was proud to be able to fly. Grinning, he nudged Esper’s side with his nose and pointed his pink nose in the direction of the birds. “Let us celebrate. Birds all around!” He called out, running out and, taking a leap off the edge of the watering hole, jumped into the water and went snapping at the birds. Today was a day to be celebrated!
