In Kaara's fic, which you read the death didn't happen in the fic and it had a happy ending for Sanzo and Hakkai.
In Kagetsuya's fic, Sanzo died crying
..... so excuse me while I'm wallowing in the sea of sadness crying
And yes... some people in FFnet need to learn not to read the things they know they don't like sweatdrop
