Piperit nodded, as much as he would deny it, he followed the beliefs of Lewis Carrol's Alice 'what good is a book without pictures or conversations?'
"Yes, in some of the chapters there are nice colored pictures. My personal favorite is the detain of the big red dragon near the end, it adds a lot to the scene."

"Ooooh," Hideki said, smiling and flipping to the end to see the picture he was talking about. He would just look at the pictures, he wouldn't spoil any of the story.

As he flipped towards the end he passed other pictures along the way. Many of them were in color and on nice glossy pages. He resisted the urge to press the book against his face to smell the pages.

He got to the picture Piperit had been talking about and admired it.
"It is very nice!" he said before closing the book. "I look forward to reading about it." He wondered what happened at the end with the dragon. Dragons were something exciting, and he was glad that he had found this book to read.

((Sorry it's taken awhile! I'll try to make the other rp soon, the one with Julia, Eiri, Suil, and Tabor!))

((take your time, I'm in no hurry XD))

Piperit nodded, "glad your so interested." As he finished this sentence things seemed to get quiet. Truth be told, he wasn't the greatest fr conversation, and had no idea what to talk about considering the talk about the book was finished. He played it cool though, just sitting quietly and looking around on occasion, trying not to be the first to break the silence with an 'oh' 'so' or um'.

Hideki too noticed that their conversation had come to an end. Piperit seemed to have been enjoying the silence of sitting and enjoying the scenery before Hideki had come around, and he thought that wasn't such a bad idea, considering he didn't really know what else to say anyway. He was eager to start reading the book.
"Well, you don't mind if I just sit here and join you while I start reading then, do you?"

"Not at all," Piperit answered, he turned, walked behind a tree, and came back with another book. "I always keep a back-up book just in case. I can read this one and you can read 'The Hobbit' and enjoy both the silence of the forest and a good book." Piperit liked reading with others, only no one else ever wanted to take the time to read with him.

Hideki was happy that Piperit seemed pleased to enjoy the silence and read with him. Hideki was pleased that his presence would not be a burden.
"Thank you!" he said as he glanced at the back up book Piperit pulled from behind the tree. "What book are you going to read?"

"A book of Poetry and Prose by Edgar Allen Poe. One of my larger pieces actually. I've wanted to re-read it for some time but it's a frequent victim of the mysterious book thief that keeps taking my things." He had actually just found the book propped against his door that morning, the thief having returned it as they always had before. Truth be told, the book thief didn't bother Piperit that much. His prized possessions were always returned in top condition. He'd just rather not be left in the dark.

Hideki's eyes widened in surprise. "A book thief?! Well...that doesn't sound very good!" He stared at the book and then frowned a little bit. "But...how did you get it back if someone took it from you?"

While thinking about his question and the crazy idea that someone would steal books from namrah, Hideki couldn't help but examine the cover of the book he held. It had the title with a picture of a man on it and Hideki figured he must be Edgar Allan Poe. He wondered what kind of poems and stories were inside it.

”That's the odd thing,” Piperit admitted, “The thief always returns them, in perfect condition, to my door.” He'd been trying to figure out who it was for months with no success. He had even gone so far as to try and find some copies of Sherlock Holmes to read in order to improve his investigating skills. “Whoever it is, they only steal my books on Poe or the occasional Faerietale. The only real problem I have is that I'm not being asked and that it always seems to be when I want to read them that they disappear.”
