Queen-of-the-Rogue There are like two different software programs named the Apollo and Artemis reader. Not to mention the Apollo missions from Nasa. Apollo from NASA makes sense-- if you don't look too hard into it, because Apollo is the sun and I don't think that expirement was heading towards the sun, but it's the whole space/sky/planets thing.

The city of Troy was supposed to be impenatrable. But the Greeks eventually got through. That's bad publicity for people who know their mythos.

Well, everyone probably knows this already, but I thought it would fit in this thread anyway. ninja The Phrase 'Achilles Heel.' I've only heard it used once, where some basketball player said his achilles heel was freethrows.
Well..that...and there's a flower shop near my town where, on the sign, is a picture of Hermes, with his flying sandles and helmet, holding...flowers. question

XThe Lily Of The ValleyX Well, everyone probably knows this already, but I thought it would fit in this thread anyway. ninja The Phrase 'Achilles Heel.' I've only heard it used once, where some basketball player said his achilles heel was freethrows. That's not really that random. Achilles' weak point was his heel. That's why "Achilles Heel" means weak point.

Oh yeah, that reminds me of the Disney Hunchback of Notre Dame. There's Phoebus (another name for Apollo) and his horse Achilles. And then there's the gag where he tells his horse to "heel"
