Mikhail raised an eyebrow, but left it alone for now. This was something he could probably take care of on his own...or try to, anyway. You know, if he actually knew where to find Ra. Or Kia.

"No," he answered, shaking his head. "I have to be touching them." Hands still full, there wasn't much he could do about the paper plane, but it wasn't nearly as worrisome as a flashlight.

"It's still a great thing to do." She said, after a moment of dissapointment over not seeing a burning paper plane, and went back to her pen and paper. There wasn't much light in here but enough. Tiegan was really just doodling all over the paper now, all essay ideas flown out the window.

She knew that now she was found, she'd have to find a new spot. Tiegan had half hoped to see Nozomi here. Mik wasn't so bad either though. Where was a good spot? There were woods further away...

Tiegan patted the dusty floor after a moment, a little cloud of dust rising. She guessed he might not sit near her but if he was going to stick around in here then he may as well sit down somewhere.

"Why'd you come down here anyway?"

Her eyes had drifted further away to what looked like bottles of grape juice. Lots of them. All old and dusty.

Mikhail finished the last of his sandwich while he eyed the floor following Tiegan's quiet suggestion. Eh, whatever. Slowly, he took a seat on the floor, pain flitting across his expression as he did so. Stupid goddamn ribs.

"The door was open," he answered, settling himself. "I was curious."

"Are you hurt?" She finally noticed the pain on his face and was distracted from the drinks, probably all moldy anyway, to Mik. Tiegan thought she'd seen something there...

If he wanted her to know, he'd tell her. Probably.

"I don't think anyone's been down here for a long time."Tiegan's eyes drifted around the place. Spiderwebs, dust, shapes that had no identity, it was a weird place.

"Ribs," he said offhandedly, wedging his can of soda between his feet so that he could open it one-handed. "Broke some a few weeks ago." He was getting pretty used to explaining it by now, if not the exact reason. That was a bit on the complicated side.

"Someone oughtta clean it up," Mik observed. He was not a fan of dirty places.

"I heard they killed when they broke." Tiegan didn't mean death literally, of course, but she had heard how bad they were. Not soemthing she wanted to experiance.

She glanced around again as he mentioned cleaning. "Well I guess no one's been here for so long. It would be great if was clean and had lights." She stood up, slow because of her aches, and wandered over to brush at one of the old lights. Lamps. It was possible that it was here bfefore the building, maybe.... or maybe it was made to look like a sort of bomb shelter. She had no clue.

"Yeah," he confirmed, "Just about." It was by far the worst pain the angel had ever been in, and he sincerely hoped that he would never have to repeat the experience. Once was more than enough, thank you.

"Seems kind of weird, though. I thought I'd been everywhere in here."

"I guess you can never know what places like this have..." Particually places that dealt with people like fa'e. Tiegan was amazed it didn't have warpholes. Flying monkeys. Alternate dimension gateways. Or something else that wasn't supposed to exist in the first place.

Tiegan reached into her bag, tugging out a can and a spoon. Cold condensed soup. It was the first thing she could find when she decided to 'go for a walk' in the first place. She was glad he had eaten, this wasn't good food to offer anyone.

Yawning, she grimiced at the goop inside, glad the shadows and lighting hid it, before trying to eat a few mouthfuls. Mmm. Dinner.

"Yeah," he agreed simply, taking a drink of his soda. When she pulled out the can of soup, he hid a grimace. Some things were decent cold, like pizza, but soup? No way. Gross! "There's real food upstairs, you know."

"Yeah but I don't really want to steal food from here. Because I'm not a fa'e. It doesn't seem right really..." Tiegan shrugged, and tried another mouthful. It really wasn't that bad. Condensed just meant it was a stronger flavor and cold she could handle if she had to. "It doesn't taste that bad."

Tiegan rested against the wall behind her and relaxed, probably for the first time since she got there, her body slumping a tiny bit. He was a jerk before but he wasn't so bad now.

"I doubt anyone would care, but...suit yourself, I guess," he said with a shrug. While he was in a better mood than he had been the other night, his conversational skills weren't any better. Thinking of things to talk about wasn't his strong suit.

"Probably not but still..." Tie shrugged back and yawned, resting down a bit, shifting her bag to under her head. She wasn't minding if he stayed or went, but she was relaxing now and had decided to take advantage of it. Besides, she took weight off sore areas when she lay on her side. It was more comfortable. And climbing up that ladder would hurt so she didn't have to rush that.

"Have you met Nozomi?"

Nozomi? Mikhail couldn't help the look that crossed his face, comprised of mostly of disdain. That had been a bad day, full of way too much information about two girls he'd only known for the space of a few minutes. He shrugged. "Once."
PostPosted: Sat Sep 05, 2009 5:26 pm

Tiegan saw THAT look. And she was suddenly full of curiosity, curiosity that she barely not sound t eager, "What was asked, trying to not sound to eager, "What was that face for? What was she like?"

She was amused, curious, but mostly just wanted to know more. This was interesting.

"I mean, if you want to tell me. If it was something you're comfortable sharing."

Why did Tiegan care? He had to wonder. Maybe they were friends, or maybe Tiegan didn't like Nozomi either. Her mother was Fa'e, so she probably knew plenty of them. Once again, he shrugged. "Pregnant."
