Ooooh, yes! I've just recently seen the movie, and I was like 'They totally go together!' And when Holmes was getting something out of Watson's crotch area I'm all like 'You know you like that Watson.' ;D

Well, I've never read the books. >.>; I'd like to, though. But Robert Downey Jr-- holy effing hell. I liked him generally as an actor, and the movie looked awesome anyway. I'd seen Iron Man, but it was only when I watched SH that I realized "damn he's sexy." *drool* I loved the movie. The soundtrack was EPIC. I kept thinking at various points in movie how their banter was married-couple-ish And Holmes was so petulant whenever Watson mentioned Mary. That was so early in the movie, too! I was like, "Oh. My. God." Having a giggle fest, internally, because I was watching it with my parents and they'd wonder WTF was so funny and I didn't want to explain in the middle of the movie. whee A bit off topic, perhaps, but I very much like Rachel McAdams as well. So I'm kind of Holmes/Irene and Holmes/Watson. XD

OK. Watson seems pretty straight to me. But Sherlock.... - Not interested in women. - Keeps Watson around even though he isn't particularly useful. - Has this moment when Watson gets shot where he's pretty much all over him, worry-worry *hug*...... See the logic? Watson on the other hand has a wife. Mind you, that could have been editing on his part to make it less obvious and I could see him harbouring a secret love... except, uh, he's married. The movie... yeah. I think the movie, though it got several plot points off (as in, no, that never happened in books) it was really good at getting personality across, though I think Watson was a little less respectful than canon. And yes, I was giggling about the married-couple-ness the whole way through.

Indie_lullaby Haha, I would agree. Too bad the movie will not have hidden tension or subtext to it. At least from what I have seen *spoiler* Oh yes...yes it did... whee So much subtext and they didn't even try to make the tension subtle... so wonderful eheheh I loved the part where Holmes was going down near Watsons belt area and he said "Don't get excited" >_> *fangirls*

"Seriousness is the refuge of the shallow."
Has anyone else been watching BBC's Sherlock miniseries? It's excellent, I'm completely enamoured! I really recommend it if you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes, or just crime shows in general. - Oscar Wilde.
