I definitely wouldn't say it was the best ICP album out there, but it was still pretty good. Actually a lot of the cheesiness DID remind me of the ol' joker cards. rofl Nice connecting it to pokemon. Totally didn't think of that. I think it's kind of an elitist thing when juggalos and lettes bring up how the old joker cards were so awesome and how ICP is sounding softer and such. I don't really think it's fitting for a juggalo to be acting all "ima better than you" to all the new folks. They're fam, so what if they're new. Most of them have joined the fam cos of the joker cards. No sh!t the old joker cards are awesome. We all know that. Doesn't mean that everything after that has to be cookie cutter. I like that they're exploring other sides of their music. I like that they're coming out with new music period. But I guess if the creators of our favourite CDs and record label aren't good enough, then there is always Twiztid. They're doing really f*cking well with bringing the wicked sh!t. Although I've heard tons of "fam" complain up a storm about them too lately. There's too much hate going on now. It saddens me.
You know the Tempest was a good album, but it wasnt part of the jokers cards, the jokers cards era is over, and now ICP is just expanding their ideas, without selling out to the MTV crowd. But the point of it is, that alot of people that buy hatchet gear now, they just buy the shirts without actual wealth of knowledge of ICP or Psychopathic. They just buy the shirts 'cause of the designs of the jokers cards or the design of the Hatchetman, and some kids just buy hatchet gear just to destroy it 'cause theyre punk-asses, I have proof 'cause I was walking by a skate park and these kids that just bought an ICP t-shirt were ripping it to shreds, and one time I was in Hot Topic, and the people at HT gave these kids Bang Pow Boom samplers, right after they left HT, the same kids they took the CDs out of the packages and broke them in half, it tore my heart inside to see those kids do that....

Oh wait, but I heard word that they might make a new set of Jokers Cards? Do you think this is bullshit? It would be pretty... interesting.

the jokers cards are done. they might make new faces, like BPB. But they definately wont be jokers cards

its not an 'elitist' thing bro. listen to the jokers cards, and hell, why not some of the FF's. And ICP in Lotus. Its kinda hard to be wicked when you're 35, have a full family, and no longer have to work much for your money. And yes, Twiztid is still to this day doing an amazing job

and btw - speaking ones opinions doesn't make them an 'elitist', just cuz the newer juggalos like the calm and after s**t

They have different lives, but that doesn't make them different people. All of that still came from their minds. I'm not saying that saying one's opinion in general is being elitist, it's how you say it. For example, when you say "I really miss the old days. Like the Joker's Cards era. Great times. Not so many sheep a** juggalos around then" right after your review of the CD, that's giving younger or newer juggalos and lettes an insult.

Of course nothing is going to be like the joker's cards ever again. I just don't see the point in comparing them to/complaining about everything that's going to come out after.

here's my take on BPB, when i first heard of it i was upset because it sounded stupid. then the sampler came out and i thougt well it cant be too bad. Then it finaly came out and i was shocked. see i had got my expectations up too high after Twiztid's WICKED and thought that that;s how all Psy was gonna sound i forgot that the Wicked Clowns are just that, Clowns

Great Intro, Beautiful Doom and Freaky Creep Show were fresh Clowns Are Back I felt was a little scatterd but still good. In Yo Face? Yes, Yes, YES! Thats what the wicked clowns are all about. The Bone i liked but not loved what i would love is to see a music vid of it. Zombie Slide, FRESHNESSSSSS!!! like many people have already said its a 2009 Headless Boogie, To Catch a Predetor sounded alot like something on Hells Pit witch is not at all a bad thing, loved it. Bong Bong was pretty fresh, every album has to have a sex song. I like I Found a Body but it gets rather repeditive for my taste, i cant say i really felt Love its an ok song but not as good as the other songs. I figured Fondz Pond would end up being a rip off Marsh Lagoon but turns out its alot different and both are very fresh. I'ma Kill You is pretty fun to listen to. I love Juggalo Island its really happy and just makes you think of paradice. Vultures, OMG VULTURES IS ONE FRESH SONG! Shaggs vocals are amazing and same with J's I can feel the disgust in Shaggy's voice and i loved how well J went with the beat in his parts. I really just dont like Verra Lee, i'll listen to it but its probably my least favorite on the album. Miricals is cool like people said its like a mix between Pass Me By and Nothing's Left. and BANG! POW! BOOM! amazing way to sum it up. Goofy, clownish Beat with sic lyrics. Dope.
So ******** glad Mike E is back he has been missed

I kind of doubt that they'll make any more jokers cards, but they could probably pull it off. But then of course everybody would be complaining about how they were so different from the originals.

As for people buying from hatchetgear... It definitely annoys me when people buy band shirts and stuff when they don't even know anything about it. For instance, I had a friend who got a misfits wallet cos he thought it looked bamf right after dissing them a week before. But I guess he's a bad example cos he's a big hypocrite anyway xd . Alas, it is a free country though and people can do what they want. Those kids that bought a shirt just to destroy it are definitely punk-asses. Who the f*ck would put money into something to destroy it? Total f*cking idiots. That would've killed me too, to see those kids break the samplers in half. I'd definitely "have a word" with them if I saw that.
I feel your pain man. Back when I went to this Richie Catholic school (I was a new Lette at the time) one of my friends had a hatchet man wallet. I told him I didn't know he was down...and he looked at me funny and asked me to explain. So I did. He rolled his eyes at me and said, and I quote; "What the heck is that about...it's, like, so stupid." In the fem accent. I just died laughing and called him a Richie. I guess he ment I called him rich so he thanked me and walked off.

about your first statement. most of these 'newer/younger' juggalos are fake as s**t. and props to the very few real ones. its gotten to the point where Violent J is finally saying s**t after years of saying that he knows nothing about whats happening with the juggalo nation: 'some scream juggalo, only when it's convenient, although they dont mean it. we're sick of being lenient'

about your second statement. are you kidding me? the lyrics were soooooo much better then. look at how great ringmaster was for its time. look at riddlebox. and the bizzars, and when shangri-la told all, and hell's pit's deep lyricism. and the joker's cards told a great message. Calm was the worst thing they ever put out and even warned juggalos that something different was gonna happen, even said something about samurai (old school ninjas) some of us didnt like. and 'Off the Track' seemed to have that kinda meaning as well. Then there was Tempest. Suddenly the storm was actually a roller coaster that had nothing to do with anything yet it gets tracks like 'Ride the Tempest' like its something importaint. It had no real meaning. The verses weren't that great and the choruses were worse. Eye of the Storm doesn't exist to me. lol. And then Bang Pow Boom. 'The return of the Dark Carnival'. You mean it left? Shaggys verses on it were good. Violent J tried way too hard. Great concept, good message, but J's game is not up there anymore and most of the choruses were annoying to listen to.
benefit of the doubt - Writing Hell's Pit ******** up J's mind to the point that it took this long to put out a Dark Carnival like album. I think this is a test for himself and I think that J still has the potential in him (listen to Opaque Brotherhood for that reason) and I'm looking forward to the future

You know Tony, I might be the only person that says this but, I dont think the Dark Carnival ever left, it was here along even after the era of the 6th and Hell's Pit. And as for J waiting to put out a Dark Carnival like album, just like you said maybe his mind was ******** up after writing Hell's Pit, he did say that Hells Pit was the most painful and depressing s**t hes ever done.

Read what I said again about the Joker's Cards. I said of course nothing was going to be like them ever again. I like The Tempest, but I do agree that they just kind of threw that in there. As for the whole statement about newer/younger juggalos. I know a number of them, and all of them are REAL. What I believe he's talking about are just fake juggalos in general, like the people at The Gathering that were throwing sh!t likes maglite flashlights at people and stuff. Or for example, I watch this one juggalo's videos on youtube named MilenkoSeed. The first show he went to was for The Tempest. When he was there, he was moving through the crowd and excusing himself, and when he tried to get by this one dude, the guy pushed him. So he said, "Dude, come on, isn't there any clown love?", to which the guy replied, "No clown love here." Now that pretty much goes against everything a juggalo is, to do and say that. I don't think it matters WHEN somebody started listening to the music and calling themselves a juggalo, as much as it has to do with the quality of the juggalo. When I started dating my girlfriend, she slowly became a lette cos of all the psychopathic music I introduced her to. Now that doesn't mean she's going to be sh!tty cos she's fairly new to the fam. I guess it all comes down to parenting. If you're a lo or lette and you get a friend into the music and they want to start calling themselves fam, then you should teach them about it. Teach them what they should know, how to treat fam, etc. My guess is that all of the fakies either didn't have a proper mentor or was introduced to it by another f*ckhead. But I really truly believe that it has nothing to do with how new they are.

@ Miss Potter O_o That is amazing that you survived that long in that school. Dang. I could NOT take that. I like to challenge guys like that that think they're hardass sh!t and watch the look on their faces and their reactions. lol

And that is why I am an actress... Trust me, If I wasn't...then that school would've burned to the ground a long time ago.

It saddens me.

its not an 'elitist' thing bro. listen to the jokers cards, and hell, why not some of the FF's.

I just don't see the point in comparing them to/complaining about everything that's going to come out after.

about your first statement. most of these 'newer/younger' juggalos are fake as s**t. and props to the very few real ones. its gotten to the point where Violent J is finally saying s**t after years of saying that he knows nothing about whats happening with the juggalo nation: 'some scream juggalo, only when it's convenient, although they dont mean it. we're sick of being lenient'

about your second statement. are you kidding me? the lyrics were soooooo much better then. look at how great ringmaster was for its time. look at riddlebox. and the bizzars, and when shangri-la told all, and hell's pit's deep lyricism. and the joker's cards told a great message.
And as for J waiting to put out a Dark Carnival like album, just like you said maybe his mind was ******** up after writing Hell's Pit, he did say that Hells Pit was the most painful and depressing s**t hes ever done.

no youre not the only one. hence why i was like 'And then Bang Pow Boom. 'The return of the Dark Carnival'. You mean it left?'
