Bingly would have followed but as soon as he started to hit the freshwater of the stream he had to back off and wait just at the edge. He could not take the change in the water that the Katorai could take so he would have to wait.
Bennet had stopped a small distance up the river and had started to gather some fruit that had fallen into the water. What a nice surprise for his little eight legged friend this would be. He hopped that Bingly had rooted up some crabs.

Higoi kept swimming. For a moment she hesitated, when she left the little octopus behind, but her resolve to find her old friend back won out over her fear, and she picked up her pace and started swimming more quickly after the katorai.
"Wait!" she called out in a little squeaky voice. Then she cleared her throat and tried again. "WAIT!"

Hearing a voice Bennet stopped in his swimming and turned around. He had not heard a Katorai's voice is so very long. He jumped and looked around. It was not long until his eyes fell on the white and red female. She looks strangely familar though the ample bossum was not familar. The koi Katorai looked like his old childhood friend but haden't that been a little male? "Were you talking to me?" He asked softly and moved to start swimming back towards her.
