I don't really care what controller I'm using as long as it isn't the N64's. That system is lucky it had such good games.

The Hori Pad Mini for N64 is my favorite. As for first party stuff, the SNES controller.

I like that one that Billy and Mandy used it that one episode.
As vague as that is, I like the 360 controller, it's easy to reach all the buttons and it can put many different control styles on its buttons

O: heart I liked the N64 controller. My favorite is probably the Wiimote, though. It's simple but it can do a lot.

Nomega Derrai That GC DDR pad. Have you ever tried to play a game of Smash with it? It was EPIC FAIL! but worth the fun. I've played Kirby Air Ride with one. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY s**t I once kicked my friend's a** at Soul Calibur II on the PS2 using a DDR pad while she used a controller. She played the game like crazy and I couldn't stand it and never touched it. It was hilarious. As much as I love the Wii Remote in certain games (and do I EVER need Metroid Prime Trilogy), my favorite regular controller is the GameCube controller. The shape is comfortable to me, and I've spent more time with it than any other controller. Least favorite controller: Atari joystick. Controllers aren't supposed to squish when you try to use them. Playing a game with that thing feels like walking around in really squeaky shoes.

Favorite: Gamecube
As far as innovative controllers go, the gamecube is not one of them.
But, it was the best design in a long time.
It had those nice grips at the bottom, all the buttons were within thumb reach, and the L, R, and Z were never hard to hit, unlike the N64...
It was a controller that worked perfectly for all game genres. Sure, it can't do the things the Wiimote can, but it didn't have too to be awesome.

CherubiMaster and the L, R, and Z were never hard to hit, unlike the N64... Do you have deformed hands or something?

Seriously, my favorite was the Wireless Gamecube controller. Though, the most fun was probably anytime I had a microphone attached to the N64 controller (oh, that nostalgic Hey You Pikachu moments came back to me, "Pikachu, EAT that Caterpie!" "PIKA.")
For me, the worst was PS2
